Way i see it is I pretty much broke even on LA NOIRE (which I could not get into) and I'm not buying another game until OMG OCTOBER hits, so rebuying the game and two map packs for a total of 55 bones is worth it.

I'd like to add the maps, but I also looked into the DLC for Mass Effect 2, and having enjoyed the game so much I'm considering purchasing the added missions, but that would also amount to about $30.  I guess with my wife out of town it's far easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

It was leaked a bit early so they just decided to announce it. I'm sure they weren't originally planning on it so soon either.

Edit to add: Selling for financial reasons is one thing.  Selling because you're frustrated with the game, or forcing yourself to take a break, and then deciding to come back to the game - now that's something else.

The answer is yes. The pack that came out a couple months ago is outstanding. Also, new ones due out in less than a week!

The immense summer gaming lag has me looking into getting this once more as well... oiy. I need some FPS and by all accounts I've seen Duke Nukem will not cut it for me.

I'll probably give Duke a rent as well with Redbox now having games for $2/night. It would probably be worth a laugh. I'll pick up the new map packs when I get my copy in the mail early next week. I just don't see anything FPS coming out worth playing in the next 3 months... ah well. See you all now playing in game soon.

If the first map pack isn't quite the bees knees, perhaps I might pony up for the 2nd map pack if it's worth the price of admission.  $15 is far more reasonable than $30.

I bought Escalation (2nd map pack) and it's very strong, well worth the buy.  I skipped the first one.  I will probably also grab the one that comes out next week.

played 3-4 matches last night and it was quite fun.

Of the new map pack all I got to play was Zoo and Convoy - really really like Zoo. Reminds me of Carnival combined with Trailer-park.

Was positive KD on Nuketown and my favourite Jungle. Grid was also a nice reminder.

Great return tonight. The new maps seem nice, though I mostly got my ass kicked on them. Rolled probably 2 kd last night so im good with that after three months or so off.

 Played with romy Macker and lettuce, good times as always. Hopefully the eventual fps burnout takes a few months more for me with this one.

I'm having a blast playing Pure Team Deathmatch which has no attachments, perks, killstreaks or equipment.  What a relaxing mode overall.  No worries about surprises and you can just play more relaxed

No it is one of the Bare Bones modes.  I play Pure TDM quite a bit and Classic TDM which is the same except you only get Spy Plane, Care Package, and Attack Helicopter as your killstreaks.

Yeah, I usually played a couple rounds of those when I would first Prestige. Easier to earn some cash if you don't win anything in the Gun Game loophole.

Also, why the hell does the game pick me to host? It's not like it's one map here or there. Almost every match after Hark and Kato left, I hosted.

I keep saying it, but bandwidth isn't really the key to the latency problem.  Once you have x amount of bandwidth the rest is irrelevant.  You probably have high latency or packet loss.  It probably picks you as host because you have good bandwidth.  2 up should be plenty.
