Even if someone is sprinting I can barely hear them. In previous titles I practically had a proximity sensor and x-ray vision. I'd be happy with a middle ground because right now my close quarters game sucks. I really need those footsteps to counteract my sloth-like old man reflexes.

I usually play with my headphones on and could barely hear any footsteps before hope it's fixed. I could hear people reloading if they were very very close though.

Lol, that's why my K/D suffers when I play with GTers.  You guys hog all the easy kills.  I RELY on people that don't turn around for my mediocre results.

Was that with Steady Aim?  I loved the SPAS in MW2 but its iron sights in BLOPS are horrible.  Shooting from the hip I can handle.

I'm struggling to find a good sidearm for my sniper kit.  In MW2 I had both the SPAS and the M93 Raffica to choose from, both of which were entirely competent as even primary weapons.

No sure I'll get time tonight but I am all in for Friday night shootyface. Usual time for me though, so about 9, west-side time.

Assuming we don't drop power like the other night and tank my ISP for a day and a half. Grrrr

I've decided that the answer to all my problems is the M60.  Good lord, this is my gun.  I'm actually able to kill things with it.  Even managed to get a kill streak of 8 once.  I love this gun.

Too funny. I'm not going to condone or condemn anyone for things done in prior games, regardless of how little impact they have at this point... as far as I know all the people on my friends list are legitimate.  thumbsup

Anywho, back to COD impressions.

The famas is a bullet hose and without a doubt my new favorite weapon in the game.

I can attest to the cheating though. He cheats like a mo-fo. I have removed him from my friends list over his escapades yesterday evening. I simply cannot and will not associate my .087 KD with his 489.04  Tongue

It would be better if you send me the game film after, like they do with the poker shows. That way there can be instant replays.  icon_biggrin

With the double tap perk they are really mean.

Not sure how much you missed, as I missed it too.   icon_frown  A friend recently picked up a barbox pool table on the cheap (it was in beautiful shape) and finally got new cushions installed, new Simonis cloth installed, and the table leveled (the felt and cushions cost more than the table itself  icon_lol).  I simply couldn't miss an opportunity to be the first to break it in.  We played from 6pm until about midnight.  I just didn't have anything left for shooteyface after that.  But man did that felt play sweet, and the cushions banked like a dream.  I think we tried and made more bank shots in one night than ever before.  And for fast cloth you could still get ridiculous action on the cue ball.

The wife gets back tonight after being in Asia for six weeks, so I probably won't be online tonight again either.

Work.  Two weeks managing a federal environmental compliance audit team at a military installation in Korea, then a two week break between projects that she used to visit Beijing and Bangkok, then back to Korea for another two-week project before returning home.  It was an amazing opportunity, but a bit long for both her taste and mine.

here's someone using a modded controller to full auto a FAL.  The video incorrectly labels it as an aimbot, but it's a modded controller.
