So, seems to be some encouraging things there - no Commando, no Stopping Power, No OMA, W@W-style Marathon and no death streaks, meaning no Painkiller. The fact that they only list "Pro" under two perks makes me wonder if they haven't got the full list here.

There is also a much smaller range for killstreaks - no 15 or 25.

So the 3 questions I can think remain for me are:
1. What is the deal with the ballistic knife? Is this going to be the new abused weapon? How does it work?
2. Is there a tactical knife? (Hoping no)
3. How is the noob tube handled in the game?

The flak jacket perk.  Tubes were just as bad in w@w but they never really did anything (other than a unarmed grace period at the start of a round) other than the rock/paper/scissors perk route. At least there is no one man army or danger close.

I do like that they leveled the playing field by not including stopping  power.

I was thinking more along the lines of can it be used on most guns, how many starting ammo do you get and does scavenger reload it?

I gotta say that until now I was thinking that this edition of COD would be the same game-type set in a different era. I was looking forward to playing.

Now I can safely say that I AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO PLAYING.

I'm looking forward to it for dedicated servers. Seriously, this P2P crap is ridiculous and works terribly for most people's internet connections. Have they announced whether the dedi's would be like they are for BF BC2 or can I just throw up my own server as I will (which is what I want) but the other way is better than nothing.

I have been on the fence for a while on whether or not to get it as while MW2 is a great came, I get pissed at all the stupid crap in the game a lot. These lists are definitely a nudge in the right direction (assuming they don't change too much). Hoo-ah!

Probably just PC. I would imagine that XBOX and PS3 will use there own systems. Microsoft is obviously going to use XBOX live. Why would they pass an opportunity to make more money?

I don't have much interest in the multiplayer, but I want to chime in after watching a handful of videos and say this game is looking awesome. I hope the SP turns out good. Treyarch appears to be firing on all cylinders for this game, I'm hoping for the best.

Fantastic.  Now i'm actually gonna buy it for single player and as a demo piece for my living room:)

My 3D Samsung plasma still doin great even for gaming....i keep takin care of it and it's probably reached 300 hours of total use now.  Most recently been playing Resident Evil 5 on it, frequently in 3d conversion.

Gonna be sweet having a 360 game that isn't Avatar for showing off 3d!

I still have my copy and might be interested in jumping in to a few MP games with the old gang.  Not necessarily to prepare for Black Ops (funds are tight), but at least to play some MP.  Only problem is availability.  I'll keep an eye out for when folks are playing, that is, at least when I find time to log on to Xbox Live.

This is probably going to be my FPS until...well, could be the last one really as it has everything I've wanted in a FPS.

Bots for MP practice/map exploration, loved this in Perfect Dark/Goldeneye.
Unlocks/weapons not based on level grinding.
More customization, not to the point of my ultimate dream of a RPG/FPS in a "realistic" setting (re: Borderlands), but enough to make it interesting.
Zombie Mode, which has now had the benefit of fleshed out (so to speak).
Lot's of interesting pre-set game modes for online play (MW2 really only had a few with slightly different variations)

If the gameplay/maps are as good as W@W, MW2 will be forever replaced.
