I don't know much about the special editions this time, but there is a season pass.  It's pretty much the same deal as last year, only cheaper since it doesn't include ELITE (which is now free).

Season pass is probably a good deal if the game is at all good.  I'll wait to buy it though.

I'm definitely going to try to keep a stream active.  Looks like anyone can stream for free if they get 10 viewers.  (of course getting 10 viewers can be difficult without already having a stream...)

I must be confused.  When is official release? Tuesday or tomorrow? I guess either way I'm going to get some time in with Halo 4 for a bit before picking up BLOPSII on Tuesday.

It's Tuesday.  I was a bit bummed.  Someone posted a pic of a bunch of copies on craigslist locally and for a good price.  Turns out it was a prank on a GS employee from a friend of his who took a pic of their shipment.

I saw a bunch of people on my friends list playing this yesterday. I've got to work all weekend so I couldn't play if I had it (well maybe I could a little) but still, upsetting!

Sadly, not street broken at all in my area  . I have pre-ordered though, so plan on seeing me on the streets of Nuketown 2025 sometime Tuesday

at this point i am promising myself not to buy this game,truth be told i have hardly touched MW3 this time(unless anew map comes out and then i play that a few times then put it away again)

Yes I have been playing - got my copy Thursday afternoon and the servers came online Frioday afternoon or so. At its core it is COD and I am enjoying it. Sure bullets still hit you around corners  but what did we expect?
The perk system is cool - right now I have 2 level 3 perks in one of my builds which means I have to sacrifice my secondary (for example but you can chose) and I also have 3 attachments on my primary.
Let me just say that then FAL with auto select fire is godly!!

Thus far SMGs are ruling the maps my only real gripe thus far is that all the good assault rifles are starting at like level 30 or so. Never had a COD title make us wait that long.

It's awesome besides the ps3 freezing bug I fear but haven't got yet but never played mp yet. Run on galore! Almost everywhere I read and everyone in the one lobby I joined said it happened to them(5 people or so and numerous times).Plus one of my buddies as well as we tried to play. Certainly seems to be a server fuck up.

On a positive note, the campaign seems to be a nice change if page for cod. I'm confused by some of the story thus far, but its quite enjoyable.

I can't say i am enjoying this game AT ALL

Multiplayer is so tired now,i have a worse feeling playing this than i did when playing MW3,and for some reason my Single player has changed into an RTS game


Multiplayer maps are so-so....I have not played Nuketown 2025 yet,but i hated that map anyway,LOL

Hmm western parts... is it from videogamesplus by any chance?  I used to shop there for over 15 years.  Then just last year I bought a copy of Assassins Creed Revelations from them, unrwapped the shrink wrap and there was no game disc inside.  Very strange, I've never seen anything like that.  Anyway when I took it back the guy accused me of lying even though he knows me and I've never returned a game in the 15 years I've shopped there.  So that was the end of my source of broken street date purchases.  I end up saving money though since his store can't compete with the kind of discounts that a Best Buy can give.

I'm probably going to pickup BLOPS at lunch today.

I hope it comes across in my review that I thought they were fun, just an uneven experience and needing some refinement. I'd actually like to see them in future installments with some improvements as I think it has potential.

Actually just to make my self clear,that is just the online part i was ranting about(which could of been substituted with 3 map packs for MW3)

I did go back to the single player and finish the game,and although i am still lost with a couple of parts of the story it was at least better than Black Ops 1 story(IMO)...however,6-7hrs,i thought it was decent but as all single player CODs,i probably wont(wouldn't) go back to it again,i usually buy the games for online

Not sure what happened when the game changed to an RTS,maybe i somehow went to a spec ops level(are the spec ops levels RTS?),i don't know...the area in that RTS part is used in Multiplayer as the map 'Drone'..and then when i went back to it(resumed game),it just went straight to a cut scene in a boxing ring..i feel a missed quite a bit of story

So,if anyone wants to clear that up for me i would be quite grateful as i don't wish to look into it myself it popped up somewhere about the 5th level i think

Also for those who have finished the story,maybe you can clear up a few parts i am confused about

So,what the hell happened to that girl 'Karma' after she was kidnapped from the nightclub?...i honestly can't remember hearing her name or what happened to her after that level


Why the hell did we go to that undercover guy and play from his perspective for 5 minutes?..what the hell was the point in that?...again,i don't think he was mentioned again


so was Raul's sister killed in fire or what?(you know pretty much the whole reason he waged war on America)...that 'give away of the story' at the end showed that she was the girl on the bed,although she had fire scars...but then after the credits it showed Raul digging up her grave and pouring petrol onto himself..so she DID die?..or did she die later or what?


It was all very Joker/Dark Knight wasn't it?..wanting to get caught i mean
