Are they the same game, or different? And if they're different, is it worth it to get both?

Different. CoD2 on the PC and CoD2 on the Xbox 360 are the same game, but the regular Xbox version (The Big Red One) is different and not as cool.

Think original CoD versus Finest Hour different and you have the general idea. And Finest Hour was awful compared to the original CoD.
