BS or not?....PS3 getting GTA4:L+D

For months now PlayStation 3 gamers have been asking when will the Lost & Damned DLC come to the PSN Store?
PSW Magazine recently published an article in their magazine saying that Microsoft only had a 6 Month Exclusivity Deal for 'The Lost and Damned' add-on for Grand Theft Auto IV. This means  that the add-on will be released on August 20th 2009. So everyone get ready because it will come sooner rather than later!

if true,that means MS would of paid $50mil(or $25 mil,however you want to see it)for the 6 months exclusivity...ouch,but then again i heard it broke all records on XBL,so perhaps they have made their money back

also,a few months after that date the 360 is due the second DLC

i am sure it will be a big hit on PSN,i loved the DLC and can't wait for the second one

If it's true, that's good news. I didn't realize it was a limited exclusive. I just thought that PS3 owners of the game were screwed.

that's just it,i don't think MS or Rockstar had/have said what kind of exclusivity this is...not sure where PSW magazine got the info it was just for 6 months...but i haven't read the actual magazine

i had heard that Rockstar wasnt planning on making any DLC for GTA4 at all until MS changed their minds with 50mil

I would love to see L&D for the PS3, but I seriously doubt that this rumor is even remotely true. Microsoft paid for the development of the expansion, which gave them exclusivity. I don't think there even would have been an expansion if MS hadn't stepped in.

I think this was a great move on Microsoft's part, not so much for GTA4 but for future releases.

I own both systems, and this pretty much guarantees that I'd try to buy the 360 version instead of the PS3 version for future big releases. I got GTA4 on the PS3, and it definitely makes me feel like a second class customer on a second class system.

I would hope MS was smart enough to get 6 months AND then a share of profits when it goes cross platform since they pretty much produced it anyway.

NA= North America, kinda along the lines of what is happening with Ghostbusters in Europe, so you'll be safe
