And that Tiny Tina expansion is out today as well.  It sounds really great, but I'm not sure I can get myself to dig back into this game since I never even finished the original campaign.

I was reading some forums and they were mentioning you needed to be around level 57 or so to be able to solo the new DLC.

No where close to that(I mostly play as a duo and have most every class(even the DLC ones) at lvl 20+) but just want to say that these guys really get DLC right.  This is becoming my most beloved game series of all time and I do not say that lightly.

I'm finding it fairly difficult with my Mechromancer in 2nd playthrough starting at 37. We'll see. Can always re-start on first playthrough and have it be easy :-P

Does DLC scale or something?  I zoned into Tiny Tina's area and everything was exactly around my level (33).

Yes, I believe it scales to your level when you first play it.  Which is one of the reasons you don't want to load up one of the DLC areas just to check it out and then return later, since it will still be scaled to when you first visited.

dunno about Season 2 pass, but more DLC is on its way(and a new IP from gearbox)

Pitchford also confirmed that new Borderlands 2 DLC was on the way, despite the fact that all Season Pass packs had now launched.

"Everyone was under the expectations that those would be the four DLC's and that's it," Pitchford explained. "We are going to do more, we are going to do some other things. I don't have details exactly of it yet cause were not ready to announce what the other things are.

"We got more stuff in the hopper that we're planning and getting pretty excited about. So if you're a Borderlands 2 fan you don't have to be afraid that that's the end of it."

Yep, comic con.

But, I already know what the next DLC will be, and it has to do with some obvious info gleaned in Tiny Tina's DLC. My group finished that DLC and it was quite good.

Spoilers for the Tiny Tina DLC:
Spoiler for Hiden:
Basically, at the beginning of the Tiny Tina DLC, they talk about how the characters of BL2 are interrogating a Hyperion guy about something. Then, at the end, the main characters show up again, saying how they got the Hyperion moon station access codes, and ask if anyone wants to go blow up a space station. Thus you can guess they'll finally attack that damned station that's tormenting you all game.

As for the DLC itself, kinda nice that they take a dark turn near the end, and come away positive, what with Tina coping with Roland's death. It's not the most elegant way I've seen stories handle it, but it's good enough for Borderlands 2, and a proper sending off. Well, even though no one really cared about Roland anyway.

Of course, it's all about Buttstallion.

I'm sure it will allow for a wide variety.

Hope you’re wearing protective eyewear, because today’s target is Knuckledragger. If you can bash that belligerent Bullymong to bits while you’re in Windshear Waste, I bet he’d fork over Gwen’s Head. (Bet you thought I’d go with a “giving head” innuendo for that one. No dice, sailor -- I keep things classy.)

Quote
If everyone can band together to scrub some Badass Marauders with Gwen’s Head today then you’ll be that much closer to getting my Creamer, sugar.

Knuckledragger is, of course, pre-Sanctuary, so it's painfully easy to get.  But I'm not to the point where I see Badass Marauders yet, so I must rely on the bloodthirstiness of strangers.

If Borderlands 2 on the Vita turns out to be a faithful port that would be an immediate purchase for me.  Unfortunately, other releases like Duke Nukem Forever and Aliens: Colonial Marines have proven that Gearbox isn't above shoving a half-finished product out the door, so I'll definitely be waiting on reviews.

I hope we're not in for another Black Ops: Declassified situation.
