I was discussing this with my buddy and seeing how they can actually unlock things for your character as well as give you keys, the possibilities seem quite endless.  For these outfits to work, they must have either been included on the disc, or included in one of the patches they released (or the codes initiate a download themselves, but I don't think they do).  Because of this, they could theoretically do things like include new content in a patch (locked by default) and then have these codes unlock new quests/areas/functionality/whatever.  It's really quite genius and I'm actually looking forward to what they do in the future. It's also smart from a busines standpoint, as they are gaining a real benefit from giving out "free" content beyond customers being happy.

now if only Capcom could do something similar

thanks!  went in and fired up Zer0, used the customization item but nothing showed in the list of skins.  scratched my head, burped, quit the game and reloaded.  the customization item was back in the inventory, so I re-used it and it showed up on the list.  so if that happens to you you may just want to quit, reload and try again.

yeah, I did, the pop-up about a new customization appeared and all that.  it was probably a glitch that it didn't work the first time.

Got all except Gaige's yesterday (will grab hers leter) and one odd thing I noticed was that it seemed to put the items in random characters inventories.  I entered 4 codes and the items ended up spread out over three characters. I would have preferred if they all just went to your selected character (unless what I was experiencing was some sort of time delay in delivery that is).

I ended up having to reload Gaige 3 times to get the skin to finally show up, and then I started a new Gunzerker.  He didn't have them skin in his inventory at all, but once I made it to Liars Berg and the skin station it was on the list already.

It will only put one in an inventory at a time for a given character. So if you logged the character in, activated the skin, then quit, you could restart a game and you'd have a different one in the same character's inventory.

I was lucky in that conference call dropped for me when I killed the warrior for the regular true vault hunter quest.  The Bee is what took me forever to get.

Once you have both those though, farming terramorphous is a cake walk. Kill, loot, restart game (you will still be in his zone), kill again.  And since he always drops a class mod, its just a matter of waiting until your particular class drops.

The Bee took that long? I got two of those in one 90 minute session. Weird, drop rates seem to be all over the place.

I actually was lucky with Terra, I got my class mod plus The Blood of Terramorphus when my buddy and I downed him. I'm trying for the shotgun now.

YEEE-HAWWW!!!!! I finally finished the game!!! 

I beat the Warrior without cheating and without the Bee (whatever that is). Details below in the spoiler tags.

After getting my ass handed to me several times by the Warrior I finally figured out that I needed to stay just under the barrier and keep ducking a lot. I kept throwing out my turret to kill off the rakks (the turret does NOT shoot at the Warrior ). I ran out to kill the crystal beastie that bothered me with crystal grenades, but then ran back and just kept pot shooting the Warrior until it's death.

Not sure it is really possible to use those three together with respect to the warrior fight.

jz, the Bee is a bugged legendary amp shield that gives massively increased damage on every shot but never drains the shield at all.

Another great cheese strategy is to just jump on the platform across from the ammo vendors.  From there, you can hit the warrior's head wherever he may be.  It's a bit slower as you can't crit, but you don't have to worry about getting hit at all, and ammo is always available for purchase.

If you are doing the quest, you will have to run down and do the Jack fight first.

Sorry, I should point out again I am talking about 2nd playthrough warrior, not 1st playthrough warrior, who is not hard at all.

Yeah, he wasn't that hard with my Commando (my buddy was playing a Gunzerker). I think I got knocked into the lava once, but overall it was pretty easy. E-tech weapons were a saving grace in that fight.

Oh, and I've found my turret useless in there, it just seems to kill the rakks.

I expect it to be much harder with my Siren (the game is much more difficult for me on PT2 using her).

OK, so I finished my first playthrough of BL2 as a Commando, ending at level 34. Should I...

- Buy the Captain Scarlett expansion and play that?

- Start a new game as my Level 34 Commando in True Vault Hunter mode?

- Start a new game as one of the other characters in Normal mode?

I'm not really sold on getting the Season Pass, for while it gives me 25% off from buying the four packs individually, I figure that at least one of the packs won't appeal to me, or I'll be tired of BL2 by next summer .
