Up to 10 keys now, the time seem very friendly to the UK timezones at the moment.

I've gotten two Twitter and one Facebook since yesterday. Looking forward to getting two more before this smorgasbord runs out with the codes in just over an hour.

Sheesh, I hadn't even been checking their Facebook feed, I've missed three posting already . I wonder why we're getting inundated with codes over these two days?

It only takes about 5 minutes or so actually, it's pretty easy at level 50. Farming The Warrior is pretty good too (I can take him down in about 90 seconds or so). i've found that the LOTR easter egg consistently gives me better loot than the golden chest. That and Ol' Slappy.
All I ever seem to get from the chest is grenades for some reason
Yeah but that sounds like a complete arseache to do When i get further in for my TVHM,i will give it a try,but waiting for the level cap rise first so that the XP doesn't go to waste

I've got a few question about the perks such as Metal Storm, Duty Calls, Impact, etc. Certain mods give you a +1 or higher bonus to these perks, but I'm uncertain about two aspects:
1) Do you need to have first unlocked and spent points on a perk such as Metal Storm before the bonus mods will work? In other words, can I still get the +2 to my impact skill if I haven't placed skill points into that tree yet?
2) Skills go up to level 5. If I'm already at Sentry level 5, and then get a +2 Sentry mod, does that aggregate to a +7 and go above the normal skill limit?
Thanks!

1) you must have one REAL point in the skill (and a cool thing in B2 is when you look at the skill, it will tell you there are bonus points you are not receiving...don't think the first had that)
2) yes, afaik. The first game was like that. You should see the higher level reflected in the skill effect info.

16 keys now for me, though I've heard a few end game boss fights makes a lot of what comes from the chest useless. Id recommend using them around 50 before you tackle the last boss.

Why would you possible need 15 keys? Use some up!
So is it significant'y different playing through a second time with a character? WOrth doing vs playing with a new character type?

Pfft. Amateurs. I'm up to 22. I don't need any gear right now, having just finished the first playthrough. From what i understand, 2nd playthrough is significantly tougher and adds some new boss fights. Think those keys will come in handy.

Level 22 and finished already, didn't you bother doing any side quests etc then? Most people seem to be level 30+ for the finish. Missing a lot of good stuff if that's the case, i've found the side quests to be of great funa nd very funny, certainly not worth skipping unless you are defintely going to do them on the second play through?

Don't know if anyone else has seen this from Eurogamer... Borderlands 2 Xbox 360 "virus" spreading, deleting player saves Xbox 360 copies of Borderlands 2 have been hit by a malicious attack that is wiping player saves, developer Gearbox has announced. A patch to fix the issue was submitted to Microsoft last week, but users report the problem is still ongoing. The "Graveyard" exploit began when users hacked save files to access a Diablo 3-style hardcore mode left within the game's code by developers. Users playing online with those who have the exploit enabled have unwittingly found their characters wiped forever when they have died. Developer Gearbox has labelled the issue - now spreading across Xbox Live via unwitting players - as "sabotage". "Recently a few users have begun violating the Xbox Live Code of Conduct by using an external application to maliciously disrupt the experience and sabotage characters of legitimate Borderlands 2 players on Xbox 360," Gearbox community manager Chris Faylor wrote last week on the game's official forum. "Fortunately it's easy to avoid this scenario. "After extensive internal testing, an update to prevent this disruption has been submitted to Microsoft and will be released as soon as possible. Until then, concerned Xbox 360 players of Borderlands 2 should consider playing online with trusted individuals in non-public sessions. This does not affect players on PC or PlayStation 3." Players are advised to exit their game sessions via the Save and Quit option from the in-game pause menu. Anyone finding themselves at the Borderlands 2 main menu after dying should immediately select Continue to resume playing. "We ask that players report any suspicious behaviour in Borderlands 2 to [email protected] and provide as much details and documentation of their disrupted experience as possible to assist us in our investigation," Faylor concluded. Gearbox has yet to respond to users who have already lost characters due to the exploit. It follows an earlier bug that wiped player Badass rankings.

Doesn't seem like too much of a challenge if all the codes are going to be good till Sunday . I won't be bothering with these, since they are only skins. I die just the same in BL2 no matter how I look. And die and die and die... sheesh, I haven't even reached the final boss!

Trying to put the latest PS3 code in and can't connect to Shift server. I know I have until the 4th to redeem, but I'm thinking about the codes right now and want them. No guarantee I will remember to do this later. This happened to me one time when a golden key code was tweeted and I couldn't ever get it entered.
Edit - Finally got it in.

I was discussing this with my buddy and seeing how they can actually unlock things for your character as well as give you keys, the possibilities seem quite endless. For these outfits to work, they must have either been included on the disc, or included in one of the patches they released (or the codes initiate a download themselves, but I don't think they do). Because of this, they could theoretically do things like include new content in a patch (locked by default) and then have these codes unlock new quests/areas/functionality/whatever. It's really quite genius and I'm actually looking forward to what they do in the future. It's also smart from a busines standpoint, as they are gaining a real benefit from giving out "free" content beyond customers being happy.
