Gamble your money! Eridium drops from slots, along with weapons, character skins, etc. I thought blowing 10,000 at the slots there to be well worth it.

Not to mention the money you can leave as a tip to Moxxi :d

I don't have too much money yet comparitively (like 20 grand), but even now I'm wondering if it's worthing picking up any weapon I won't use since I have nothing to spend the selling money on besides ammo and slots. Does that change as the game goes on?
Not for me,i hardly ever buy weapons or shield for that matter, they are always shit and the Slots now cost me over $5k for each spin,so pretty much stopped playing them

Randy says this was for European gamers in prime time, so I'm guessing that the North American codes should come later.

I screwed up a bit last night. It was late and I was trying to finish up a mission in... ...and got the bright idea of switching back and forth between missions so I could accomplish everything in one trip to the area. I ended up getting so caught up on being "efficient" I missed out on the fun . I won't do that again.

Thanks for the suggestion. Well, now that I'm knee deep in Golden Keys (I picked up my third and fourth ones today) I decided to burn a second key at level 27, I had already used one at level 18. This time I got a rocket launcher which wouldn't be all that special, except it scores damage of 10,465, which is about ten times more than the one I previously had . So although I've been reluctant to use a space for a launcher, I guess I'll keep this one.

I have a ton of them, so I burned one yesterday at level 20 and got a fantastic Maliwan corrosive sniper rifle. The other gun was a Torgue assault rifle that actually works more like a shotgun (high damage w/ bonus explosive, 4 ammo per shot, fires 2 shots per sec). I didn't think it was going to be all that great, but is a ton of fun to use. The great thing is that it is useful at longer range than a shotgun.

yeah no problem,i didn't see it until late on either
when on the title screen, the one with your character showing and the continue etc options...press Y
This will let you choose a different character or if you have finished the game, you can switch your main character from normal mode to True Vault Hunter Mode(New Game+),when you highlight whichever character you want, the time and info is displayed

I could be mistaken, but I do believe Harpua meant that seeing just how many hours had been spent playing would not necessarily be a good thing.

I wouldn't say it was full of stats like how many people have been shot etc,it was more like which gamertag is on that character, class, what mission you are on,time of latest save and how long you have spent on that character Although this picture has A button and B Button showing it being Xbox, this is slightly different from my start up screen,i don't have select character listed in the options there,i have it underneath the A and B Button symbols in the bottom right(along with network settings and stuff) so if you have this version below,it may be different than mine when you go to 'select Character'

Gaige the Mechromancer and 'sidekick' Deathtrap Gaige has her own death-dealing robot, fittingly called Deathtrap, who follows her around and racks up a few kills to help out. Both Gaige and Deathtrap have their own skill trees to level up, like the rest of Borderlands 2's classes.
Gearbox is apparently planning more classes in the future to be offered as DLC too. 360a.orgEDIT: you can hear one of her echo recordings heresounds like a 'normal' version of Tiny Tina...well normaller (yeah that's a word now)

Specifically, we'll be posting codes on 10/5 at 6PM and 11PM CT and on 10/6 at 5AM, 11AM and 3PM CT. Each code will be able to be used once per account, and will be active for three hours apiece.

It ain't Pokemon, you don't gotta catch 'em all. Note these codes are supposed to be coming from @GearboxSoftware, not from Pitchford, but once again, you can use that list I posted above non-twitter types.

I'm playing it with friends, making it very enjoyable. But unlike the original, I can see myself finishing this solo if needed.
There's actually a story and decent characters that emote. The original 4 borderlands 1 characters return, as actual characters instead of not-quite-silent grunting protagonists.
They take a part in the story, and the writers kind of assume you're supposed to feel something for them when the original didn't really give then any character or story to get attached to. But despite that, I do think they do some things right in making them characters.

I am now level 17 and just met Tiny Tina. Really enjoying the game however I went with Axton and wish I had gone with zer0 as 90% of my time is sniping. I always seem to forget my turret so have put all my points in improving my stats and damage so far.
Great game though
