[360/PC/PS3] Borderlands 2

Okay since I've been playing multiple chars with multiple people, and I love me some side quests I'm now only getting to this part..

  Im trying to save Roland and holy shit are they throwing enemies at me! Difficult enemies at me.     

This game is keeping my attention like no other right now!

That was the part when i posted somewhere above saying i was having a hard time,FWIW I have better weapons now,and things are bad still but not as bad as that point in the game for me at least


I thought i was coming towards the end last night when i defeated

Well fuck me, pull my hair and call me Susan( never heard that expression before? ) but that mission I mentioned above NEVER seems to end. I had to call it last night broader I could finish it. Oh it looks its over almost and bam 20 more things to kill. I don't mind it, quite the opposite, but holy crap that is one long mission!

Buzzards are the new Threshers for me...annoying

I went back to an earlier area to complete a task for Dr Zed,and was amazed at how easy the enemies all fell when just a couple of days ago the place was a complete nightmare...how easy was it?,them shooting me did nothing at all to my shields and i waited to get near them before 'Melee'ing them...PAYBACK !!!

I finished my 97th sidemission today so that tally that appeared on screen told me,why the tally appears with such odd numbers i am not sure...I can't imagine that i have done 97 proper sidemissions,so maybe that includes the challenges as well

I guess it doesn't help that its The Wall Street Journal...Although everyone is entitled to their opinion the guy who 'reviewed' Borderlands 2 here seems to think there are better FPS games on their way,mainly games like Halo 4 and Black Ops,don't worry the people who posted put him straight

It sounds like he doesn't play games much.  His son probably told him that Halo 4 will be way cooler so he gave BL2 a bad review.  Also, he hates Claptrap.

This man has no clue. Those games aren't out yet and based on the previous entries in those franchises they won't be anything noteworthy.
Plus mr dumbfuck these are apples and oranges, and how does bl2 NOT have staying power? I can see myself playing this for MONTHS!
Maybe I'm wrong, who knows. I'll try and rethink this after I jerk off on cod a few more times...

I fought a few of the "ninja turtles" and then they all disappeared. They were still yelling at me and my character would still occasionally say something like "Here comes a badass", but no more enemies appeared. Worse, there was no place to go and I was stuck in that little circular room. I had to kill myself to warp out.

Any ideas?

I've been getting a lot of crashes lately with BL-2. This morning I noticed in the task manager that Borderlands 2 on my rig is a 32bit game. I have a Windows 7 64bit pc. When I purchased BL-2 I don't remember being given a choice between the two. Anyone have any insight into this? My PC runs all other games fine.

Thanks - I went back there today and it worked like it was supposed to. Those guys couldn't stand up to my Turret Power.

It got very tough towards the end with countless enemies respawning and respawning....in the end i just gave it legs and ran all the way through the level to get the the last area,where the end bad guy was nowhere near a pain as the area getting there


I have two side missions to do,a Circle of Slaughter and the You.Will.Die mission which is a Thresher fight that is level 52,the level cap is currently  level 50 so that should be fun

I finished the game as Level 34

I may try out the New Game+

Loved the game and looking forward to next month when i can try out the Mechromancer

you should keep checking Randy Pitchfords Twitter as he keeps releasing Golden Key codes,they no longer have a 1000 or 10000 use redemption limit,instead they last for 2 hrs before they can not be used(the codes that is),and he is always posting new codes

I got my first orange drop last night at level 15.  It's a torgue pistol that fires 6 shots at once in a spread pattern like a shotgun, except I think it's really 12 shots since it says x2 next to the damage number.  The rounds seems to home in on bad guys to some extent, and explode on impact.  Fire rate is fast too.  It pretty much gibs everything in front of me, including badasses.  I'll edit and add the name when I get home.  The red text is:  "Did I fire six shots, or only five? Three? Seven. Whatever."

Edited:  The name of the pistol is something like Double Penetrating Unkempt Harold

I am half way through True Vault Hunter Mode(New Game+)at level 43,and i don't think i have had an Orange drop yet(or found in loot boxes for that matter)

I've had one orange drop at level 19.  It was an assault rifle that has increases fire rate while zooming.  It was pretty good for a level or two but I'm finding my other purple/blue stuff better now.

And, sadly, I have become very dependent on my Sabre Turret, so I'm keeping it as a last reserve instead of treating it like a red shirt, except my red shirt come back to life in 42 seconds, instead of the next episode.

I just did(Re-did)that mission today and got the shield,then the tally counter challenge thing appeared and it said 5/6 orange items...so i must of got 4 others at somepoint and just not realised

...where I was able to avoid using the turret and died only once. However, because I was carrying so much cash, I got charged two grand to revive! Oh well.

While I was typing this post I had left my commando standing in Sanctuary and after a minute I hear him say:

"I left the military because of the pointless waiting... and because of the dishonorable discharge, but mostly the first thing." Funny.

Sorry, I think I've lost upwards of $40,000 on a revive.  It was one of the last missions of the game before you get to the big foozle at the end.  I really should dump all that money into a slot machine but I've already purchased every upgrade from the black market and I don't think you can trade eridium between characters so there's not much point.

I don't have too much money yet comparitively (like 20 grand), but even now I'm wondering if it's worthing picking up any weapon I won't use since I have nothing to spend the selling money on besides ammo and slots.  Does that change as the game goes on?
