Huh? I played on the 360 for months on end and thought it had very few problems.

The one thing that I worry is that they will remove the split-screen play, that would seriously piss me off as my wife and I played through the game about 2.5 times.

us PC players will be hoping they don't decide to use gamespy for the MP portion this time.  oh, and they need to make sure to use different menus.  what looks good for big screen console players doesn't always translate well to the PC small screen.

cause you didnt play the pc version which I specifically stated and this is the pc forum?

nope, i don't sugar coat. The industry is in a state of bullshit and shit right now. I'll call them out I don't give a fuck who it is. I doubt any devs read this forum or care, but whatever. If I can stop just one person from buying a shitty game I did my job. But people will buy madden and cod again so publishers will keep churning out the same game.

I loved the PC version - played it to my hearts content. Coop, SP, it was all awesome.

The only thing I didn't enjoy was the end boss. It was kinda lame.

After some pretty heavy modding and tweaking, the PC port was good, but out of the box, there were a ton of boneheaded decisions.  Like, why the hell doesn't the mouse wheel work to scroll menus?  After you tweaked it a bunch, it was good, though Gamespy sucked on a pretty consistent basis.  The really annoying bit of this was that before launch, Gearbox specifically said that the PC version was having specific interface tweaks and that the PC was actually the lead platform.  After launch, it was obvious that this was pure bullshit.

I'll likely be getting this on PC after release and confirmation that either the port is good or that tweaks are able to fix it.

I totally forgot about the mouse wheel issue- that was pretty dumb on their part, and luckily the community fixed it failry quickly.

You're really full of yourself to the n'th degree fwiw.  It wasn't and isn't a shitty game.  Just because you don't like something or you see problems that you can't see past doesn't make it crappy. 

I really think you should just shelve your console and stick to games that are PC only so you can avoid any chance of a bad port.

Agree on all accounts.  Ending and and end boss in general were a big meh.  I am playing threw it coop with all the DLC for the first time right now and am loving it.

I beat the game and all but one DLC on the 360 but am playing on the PC now and it's so much smoother and better looking.  I love the game and one of my all time favs.  I remember when it first came out and I was playing with different friends and I think I played the starting area about 12 times so I'm a little sick of the opening area but never really played the other areas more than once so I am grinding to get to that.
I did have to turn on VSYNC though in the ini files to keep the screen from tearing when I panned quickly.

I picked it up on sale (for the PC) several months after release.  I played it all the way through (including DLC) and really enjoyed it.  End boss was kind of lame (as others stated) but overall, I thought it was really good.

Borderlands PC may not have been perfect on release but it was fuckin awesome enough for me to play through it a few times, with friends, in co-op, and have a HELL of a good time.

Only thing i'd like to see added to Borderlands 2 is armor loots.  Or hell, just clothing loots....that dont effect anything but looks...but would allow us to customize our looks by getting cool gear for various item slots.

Same here.  I really enjoyed Borderlands more than I expected to, and I think they have fixed the main issues with it so this one should be even better.

took this breakdown from Blues, and added in my thoughts on them:

    FOV Slider - think this had to be a tweak enabled by modifying an INI file
    100% Mouse Usable Menus/Mouse wheel scrolling - mouse scrolling was hit or miss-  some menus had it while others didn't.
    PC Specific UI - fans had to fix this in the original, not sure if they ever made it official in a patch.  Text in menus was bigger than it needed to be since the UI was designed for big screen HDTVs.
    Native Multiplayer Matchmaking - Steamworks instead of NoGame GameSpy.  like I said above, HALLE-FUCKING-LUJAH!
    Push to Talk - never got into MP because of ShitBurger Gamespy but wasn't it all open mic?
    LAN Support (including OFFLINE mode) - see HALLE-FUCKIN-LUJAH above
    Integrated V-Sync Option - IIRC you had to tweak this somewhere else
    Mouse Smoothing Options (can be disabled completely) - ditto
    Achievement Support -
    Friends List Support - again, was done with NinjaTurd GameSpy in first game
