Hey, cool: it's going to use a card-based system.  I loves me some pseudo-CCG!!!  (assuming it doesn't suck... I'm looking at you, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Marvel, and SNK vs Capcom)

hmm,are MS and Nintendo starting to share a bed?...didnt some sort of Viva pinata game also get announced a few months back for the DS?

THQ publishes Microsoft IPs on Nintendo platforms in the US. There will probably be some sort of similar third-party arrangement in Japan, unless Mistwalker owns the IP rights for Blue Dragon outright.

i have always been amazed at peoples etchasketch offerings...as i have dificulty drawing a square

this BD DS game will be massive in Japan......this time on a popular console,card game or not

I'm not sure which is right, but this article says that the collectible card game is a separate game, and that no details about the DS Blue Dragon have been released.

I think this is a very good move by Microsoft as the game will have a good audience on the DS. If if turns out to be a good game it could even help boost NA and EU sales for the 360 version.
