something happened last night to the leagues, and there is only 5 now all in all, hypothetically, where there, hypothetically   was a LOT more previoslly.

IF I tried to remake the GT & OO league, it probably didnt work because of this hypothetically something strange going on....

Lucky beta people. Apparently I am not desirable. Daehawk and I should create a hypothetical "non-league" - and you all can't join!  Tongue

Hope its getting nearer to release. Still a little mystified by the Starforce thing... I swear I thought that company was dead.

I know they mentioned Starforce near the beginning of the development cycle, but they really haven't answered anything else now that it is closer to the release date.

So hark, I got the pre-order, got my activiation and player key in the mail, and have downloaded the .exe and 3 bin files.

However, the page said wait 7 hours before I can play....does that mean after I install with the .exe, my activation wont be accepted until tonight?

Is it faithful to the board game campaigns, where players could be permanently improved/injured over the course of a career?

I'm highly tempted to buy this on PC though I've been holding out for the Xbox version.

it's securerom activation.

I had no problem getting mine working right away.

Having a blast so far, though I'm still a bit bummed that undead didn't make it in at release.  I'm currently playing my first Chaos team in Blitz mode campaign as well as Orcs in a Classic campaign.  blitz has quite a bit more going on and can be a bit overwhelming on the backend with all the extra stuff to by, extra stat buffs, contract negotions, etc.  I do like the sponsor promises and such though.

I'll have Xfire up and will be willing to play whoever wants to give some games a run.

If you play Classic mode the game is 100% faithful to the most recent ruleset.

yeah, thats my question as well..I LOVE bloodbowl, but have only played the C64 computer game, and this company's earlier renditions of it, but had a blast doing so, Starforce and all ;-)

I really like the idea of the campaign league, and getting my players better and better

yeah, you can go buy and download it.  Without being a preorder you MIGHT have to wait until midnight Paris time to download.

Plenty of noobs here, I'm a noob technically though I've spent many, many hours reading on how to play.  Kato and I have been playing though and we're both noobs.

Using Kato's GT vent and we'll be able to help each other out and get some good learning games in.

Only through the official website about 1.5 gig download. Coming to Steam in September. Securom, 3 installs, can de-authorize a machine as needed. I have impressions on OO, in short I like what I see so far.

It went live yesterday evening so if you order now, no waiting.

No, player key you enter once the game is loaded the first time. The other one is your activation code.

I couldn't resist and picked up the direct download, and immediately recreated my Skaven team from back in the days when I actually spent money on miniatures.

Skaven vs. Dwarves is not much fun for my little rat guys - I managed to win one 1-0, tie the other 0-0, but had multiple casualties each game.  Brutal.  My entire team has only two guys with the block skill, while basically all of those stunty little footstools can lay my guys out flat.  Even the idiot rat ogre.

All in all, good times, and an amazing recreation of the board game rules.  I can imagine that it'll be a little impenetrable for new players.  The core concept to internalize is that any failure on your part will result in a turnover, and your turn will end.  Consequently, take care of risk free maneuvers first (standing guys up, moving them into position without contacting enemy players, etc) before doing anything that involves a die roll.
