I hate to be a negative nancy, but that was a pretty boring video.  He kept acting as if the AI and multiple ways to do things were revolutionary but that crap has been done for years and it didn't look like very exciting gameplay.

Looks like System Shock 2 with better graphics. I defintely want to play it, but I think Levine went a bit overboard with all the hyperbole during the video. I see nothing revolutionary at all.

The graphics sure are purdy though. The shadowing on the Big Daddy when he came walking down the hallway that was on fire looked amazing.

Yeah, the guy who was doing the controlling didn't seem to be into it.  However, the video has convinced me that this is a day 1 purchase on whichever platform it comes out on first.  I loved System Shock 2 and Deus Ex, and watching that game me the same warm and fuzzy feelings that I felt went playing those.  I like how the water streamed around the Big Daddy whent it stopped to help out the Little Sister.

Ken Levine isn't the best person to do a narration.  That video could have gone by a lot faster with the same content.

It is basically a spiritual sequel to system shock 2.

This is one of the few games I will purchase the day it releases.  I can't wait.

I just had to laugh when I was watching the video, anticipating the supposed awe-inspiring, against the grain enemies that the narrator said were coming, totally atypical to the usual baddies you fight against ... and then they're just stock genetic mutants/experiments/accidents.

Game still looks very cool though.

To be fair, they can't show you everything in the game.  Not to mention they have a long way to go before release day.

It's enough for me that they have a vision for this game and so far they have pulled it off.  The core gameplay of Bioshock, from those videos, looks solid so originality isn't too much a concern.

Besides, the game has a lot of originality in terms of setting and story.

I'd like to see the video (especially the HD one) but I just can't be bothered with a 320x320 box that streams.

Man, looks awesome.  I'm a bit surprised by some of the reactions in this thread.

It's nice to hear how enthusiastic for the game Levine is.  You could take it as marketing talk but I've read enough interviews with him and forum posts over at QT3 that I think he's just genuinely happy to be making the games he makes.

Yea, there is no doubt.  For anyone to be as excited as he was in the last hour of the last day of E3 was obviously genuine.

Be careful what you wish for though.  The same could be said a lot of times of Peter Molyneux.
