It's getting to the point where this kind of pushing is turning me off even games I'm looking forward to. I'm not pre-ordering B:I even though I'm planning on getting it close to first day just because I want to cast my vote, so to speak, to tell them to just put all the bonuses into the damn game when I buy it. And no more Season Passes for me either.

As long as they put a full game in I don't have a problem with the DLC. Borderlands 2 was absolutely a full, complete game when released, and then they added episodes on top that are fun, but don't change the core story or ending.  Season pass just gets you a discount.

What is different is that they are coming out with these expansions very quickly, unlike a year later like a lot of games used to. When they have day 1 DLC is when it does seem a bit disingenuous.

For season pass games, I'm much more inclined to go with a PC purchase, as I find it more likely to get a deep discount on future sales through Steam than any of the console stores.

notice the first video is very much similar to the beginning of Bioshock 1,except Bioshock 1 was on a plane him opening a box(present?),and here in a little boat opening a box...i wonder if a secret passphrase is somewhere in that box

While Bioshock basically copied the plot of its progenitor game, System Shock 2, I don't think they could get away with that a third time.
