Yeah, the face is somewhat more realistic in shader and style, but now she also looks 15 or so, whereas before her more comic book stylization of proportion worked with the older sounding voice.
Also liked the black hair for the character, but there's still a ways to go, so that could change again.

The game has been delayed until February 2013 I hate it when I'm right. at least it only took them just over 2 months to realize they weren't going to make the release date.

looks like a couple of the team members have left: Key members of the development team on Bioshock Infinite have left Irrational Games, raising questions about the state of the highly anticipated title, sources tell Gamasutra.
Tim Gerritsen, director of product development, and art director Nate Wells have both announced their departure. Wells was a 13 year veteran of the studio, whose distinctive style was heralded in the original Bioshock.
Wells confirmed his departure via his Twitter feed, changing his bio to "New Job … Details to follow" earlier today. (He has since changed it again after members of the NeoGAF forums began speculating about the circumstances of his career shift.)
His LinkedIn page briefly listed Naughty Dog among his employers in 2012, leading to speculation he had joined the Uncharted developer. He has since removed that – and updated the page to reflect his departure from Irrational.
Gerritsen lists his employment at Irrational as having ended this month on his LinkedIn page. While at the company, he oversaw directly managed the content creators for Bioshock Infinite and listed his duties as "interfacing with our corporate home base and publishing partners, strategic level partners and vendors, conducting contract negotiation, strategic level planning, hiring and recruitment, and supervising our day to day development."
Before his tenure at Irrational, Gerritsen was chairman and business director at Human Head Studios.
Gamasutra was unsuccessful in efforts to reach Gerritsen and Wells. An inquiry to Irrational president Ken Levine was not returned.

CVGoh dear ..seems it's not just the people leaving An eye-opening report on the condition of the BioShock Infinite project has revealed that many core development staff have quit, multiplayer modes have been axed entirely, and a senior developer at Epic Games has joined the studio to help finish the delayed game. Well the Multiplayer modes are no loss TBH Hopefully Ken Levine's optimism means the story is not as bad as it sounds or makes out to be The article claimed that two multiplayer modes, which had been worked on for several months, have been axed entirely. It also speculates that the BioShock successor could ship as a single-player title only.
In other developments:
It was revealed on Thursday that many of the core BioShock Infinite team no longer work at the studio. Departures include design director Jeff McGann, producer Joe Faulstick, principal systems designer Ken Strickland, senior level designer Steve Gaynor, and systems designer Tynan Sylvester, among others. *as CeeKay Posted* Director of production at Epic Games, Rod Fergusson, is rumored to have been hired by Irrational to help finish the project.
Scott Sinclair, the art director on the first BioShock, has returned to Irrational to wrap up development on Infinite.
The studio's creative director, Ken Levine, has called for calm and maintains faith that the project will ship in February 2013.
Jordan Thomas, who works at Irrational's sister studio 2K Marin, has been brought "on loan" to help finish the project. He is scheduled to return to 2K Marin when the project is finished. Addressing the rumours and facts, Levine told Kotaku that "in a company of 200 people you're going to have turnover". "I don't think there's a single senior BioShock team member that isn't here, which I think is amazing and a testament to their commitment to the studio," he said. some more in the link

To put this in perspective. Those people who left have been there for at least 2 years, and most likely 5-10 years. I think that's enough time to spend in one place.
Not that this doesn't indicate potential problems, but Levine is right, studios have turnover.

Girl: Anna Moleva, who often goes by “Ormeli“, is a cosplayer from Moscow who has personified other video game characters before. But her uncanny portrayal of Elizabeth from BioShock Infinite really brought her to our attention.
We were so amazed by her dedication and her resemblance to Elizabeth that we decided to ask her if she’d like to be involved in helping bring Elizabeth to life in our box, our key art and our upcoming television ad.

Yeah there have been a lot of complaints about the cover saying it doesn't capture what Bioshock is about or they say it "screams generic FPS" CVGFans took to Reddit to express their disappointment with the art, with many claiming it doesn't capture the spirit of the Bioshock series. User BiohazardBlaze described the art as "forgettable and generic".
"I know logically I shouldn't extrapolate too much from the boxart," the user said. "But boy do I get a 'generic shooter' vibe from this."
Many users echoed his sentiment, with several game publications also publishing their own critiques of the art. "The best you can say for the cover art of Bioshock Infinite is that it is bland," Kotaku's Owen Good wrote. "The worst you can say is that it is cliche, fitting the worst cover-art trope of them all - chin-down, eyes-up."
Needless to say, the outrage continues.

The other thing is it gives a face to the hero. Part of the fun of FPS is you can imagine yourself a bit in the role. Now we know what Booker (I think that is his name) looks like which isn't anything like me - well except the chiseled hard body but hey

Oh, and it has cyan/blue with orange/red highlights! Cliche! Elizabeth should probably be in there as well considering she's basically the other half of the character story in B:I. Otherwise, classical marketing going more directly towards the shooter crowd, which I find hard to disagree with considering the market and the fact that B:I is actually a shooter.

Yeah, but girls are icky, they should go back to the kitchen back cover where they belong.
Or perhaps she wasn't scantily clad enough to take the front cover?
To be honest though, how many of us are really ever going to own that cover? I mean, I'm buying it digitally on PC. There's likely a lot of people that will play it on consoles, yes, but at that point, I'll just download and print out a new cover.

I can't wait until February...oh wait, did i say February?..yeah i meant March 26th...it's slipped again http://www.computerandvideogames.com/382602/bioshock-infinite-release-date-delayed-again/Boston studio Irrational Games has delayed the BioShock Infinite release date once again as the project nears the end of its protracted and problematic development phase.
The highly anticipated FPS will release on March 26, one month later than expected. "It's primarily polish and bug fixing," the game's creative director Ken Levine told IGN.
Levine admitted that delays have resulted in some fan backlash, but said the final product is more important.
"I knew I was going to take some slings and arrows about it, but I always just said 'look, at the end of the day, the slings and arrows will go away. The game will last forever," he said.
Back in May publisher Take-Two delayed the BioShock Infinite release date from October to February 26, 2013.
The game will still be released in publisher Tale Two's current financial year, though only by five days. The final product IS important,i am fine with this delay

“We went and did a tour… around to a bunch of, like, frathouses and places like that. People who were gamers. Not people who read IGN. And [we] said, so, have you guys heard of BioShock? not a single one of them had heard of it.” Seriously, what kind of 'gamers' were they claiming to be if they had not even heard of Bioshock? Anyway,i thought the choice of the cover art with the guy, would of had something to do with the lead character having a voice this time around and actually having a proper script, and it had something to do with that,i was expecting him to say that anyway tell you the truth, the guy sounds like he has gone off the deep end here(although to be honest Ken Levine comes across that way all the time for me,LOL) “And we live in this very special… you know, BioShock is a reasonably successful franchise, right? Our gaming world, we sometimes forget, is so important to us, but… there are plenty of products that I buy that I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about. My salad dressing. If there’s a new salad dressing coming out, I would have no idea. I use salad dressing; I don’t read Salad Dressing Weekly. I don’t care who makes it, I don’t know any of the personalities in the salad dressing business.” I have no words for that above quote..the whole article is fucking mind numbing TBH,ridiculous...all game companies want mega fucking cool artwork to accompany their games because people who aren't up on these things see this game next to the usual shooters in the store, then what is going to tip the scale for Bioshock?,it's the games cover that leaps out at these people who are undecided I mean, don't get me wrong,i am not really fussed with that artwork, because i know its Bioshock, but don't bullshit me into telling me you want to sit with the other generic shooters,so that people know what it is,you have to make your game before anyone plays it to look like its going to be a great experience well, that's my opinion anyway his opinion sucks For the people who aren’t informed, that’s who the box art is for.”

You're actually wrong Metallic.
Coming on these forums, being a part of the gaming scene, it's easy to think that we're a majority, or that it's more widespread than you think.
But, we're still a minority. Even among people who play games, we are actually a distinct minority of a much larger crowd that accepts and plays games.
Are you still in Japan? Do you like those awesome Japanese versions of candy, like those wonderful kit kats? If you do, can you think of when you actually go out and find information on what's the next monthly flavor?

I am wrong about what?..because i didn't actually state anything about the gaming scene that you think i am wrong about I am talking about Ken Levine just happens to visit some Fratboy gamers and they all claim not to of heard of Bioshock...17-18 year old(?) gamers haven't heard of one of the biggest games this gen..to quote Jim Kelly from Enter The Dragon "BUUUUUULLSHIT MR HAN MAN" fine say expecting mothers, say grandmothers playing brain teasing games on the DS,but don't say 17-18 year old Fratboys My sister has even heard of Bioshock and she doesn't hit the gaming scene, she saw it in the shop and picked it up(actually she picked up number 2 and then rang me if i had heard of it,and i lent her Bioshock 1)..she only has a 360 because i got a new one it's bad enough he is comparing Video games to Salad Cream, but don't tell me you want your video game cover to look average so that people who don't know the game will pick it up,that's ridiculous and I am not spending £40/$60 on Salad Cream, when i am spending that much money i look into the product first...is there anyone out there who say well,i have never heard of this product before and it looks quite average, lets blow $60 on it? there are plenty of products that I buy that I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about. There is a reason he doesn't spend a lot of time thinking about Salad Cream,it's fucking Salad Cream!! and no,i have no idea what your last sentence is about...Kit Kats have quite plain wrappers, and i am in the UK
