What was your top pick (Wether you were at E3, or just viewed movies from E3)?

Wasn't at E3, didn't check out all (read:any) of the vid's, but I did hear that Fate was present at the WildTangent booth, and it's tied with Swat 4 as the only two games I'm playing currently..........

(I would have been interested in more feedback on 'Alan Wake'; title intrigues me, and I loved Max Payne II).

Empire at War was my choice pick from its astounding movies. Civ 4 is creeping into that spot though as the shock from the kiddy graphics wears off and I learn more about the gameplay changes drool

Somewhat dissapointed with Stalker though.

Hellgate: London, even in a pre-alpha state, was -very- nice.  I'll have a preview of it up sometime this week.  Let's just say that if the finish product is as good as it is so far, we're looking at possibly the next Diablo II.

Hellgate looked good, Oblivion even better.  We also saw Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends which also looked pretty sweet. smile

After watching the 1-hr presentation by Will Wright on Spore - I'm finding it hard to be excited for any other game. Simply outstanding.

I think a properly done 'evolution' type game has been a long time coming.  I recall when some quad based shooter was announced which claimed you could take abilities from the enemies you killed, it was all I could think about for a week- it seemed that cool.

Then the result was really bad; it was just a kind of XP which you would use to 'level up' abilities.  Really disappointing.

Then there was that recent RTS game, which I didnt play, but I heard it was disappointing.
