i 've had a GBC for about a year now, and only now did i buy some titles for it:  Yar's Revenge, Kirby's Tilt'n'Tumble, Motocross Maniacs 2, Wings of Fury, Street Fighter Alpha, Shadowgate and R-Type DX ($26 altogether).

what are the Must-Have games for this system?

Zelda: Link's Awakening DX, Zelda: Oracle of the Seasons, Zelda: Oracle of Ages, and Metal Gear Solid.

If you're into RPGs, Dragon Warrior 1+2 and DW3 are great.  There's also the Dragon Warrior monsters games, which are kind of like Pokemon with DW monsters.

Best GBC game ever!  I also liked the ports of Earthworm Jim and Rayman, as well as the Pokemon Puzzle Challenge (basically a Pokemon version of Puzzle Attack or whatever).
