bah baldur's gate 2 already won the gg one (iirc. it MIGHT have been fallout, but i think it was bg2)...
warcrafts/starcraft were fun, but i think Total anihiliation (with cc of course) was better. That space mod that took place in space instead of on the ground was cool. I really liked the huge battleships with multiple turrets.
I don't like best game ever polls. They don't really tell anything. There should only be best game of a certain genre. If person A likes rts games the most, he will say the best game ever is a rts. If person B (who like me) likes rpgs the most, they will say baldurs gate 2 (heh) is the best game ever.
Oh and my favorite games:
Bg2 (and the bg series in general), fallout 1/2, xcom 1, xcom apoc, halflife, kotor (i don't know if this really belongs here since while it was fun, it wasn't in the same league as bg2/fallout) and TA (with xpack).

Ok, I've written down all the nominations (133 in all) having removed some that I found to be console games (there may be a few more of these I didn't catch) and of course the repeats. I made it into a 128 game bracket with 5 of the inital spots having a three-way competition. If you see a game, but no number beside it, assume that it is the first one if there are more than one (ex. Gothic = Gothic 1). Also, there were many games that I've never heard of before (and I usually at least know certain games exist if not having actually played them). So, if you vote for a game that you think others might not know about, just write up a little bit about it, so everyone can have at least a somewhat informed decision. I'll give everyone a minimum of 4 days to vote for each round.
Alright, as I said before it is a 128 game bracket, but I'll start with one 64 game side and then the other, after that we'll vote on all the games at once. If someone wants to make a nice drawing go ahead. Mine is really sloppy and hard to read. Sorry, I couldn't think of a nice way to do this. Just post your votes and I'll tally them.
