Who will win this brawl between two sister companies, Bioware and Black Isle Studios? It's the Forgotten Realms vs. the Planes!
Vote by Thursday, December 9, midnight (Eastern time) and the winner of the third Best Game of All Time tournament will be announced Friday morning. Wow, this sucks. I can't possibly pick between the two. Planescape: Torment had one of the best stories ever, Baldur's Gate II had some of the best RPG gameplay I ever experienced.
I 'spose I'll have to go with:
Baldur's Gate 2, although I've died a little inside because of it. I always considered both to be equals for different reasons.

Baldur's Gate II
that's a very tough decision though...PS:T is an amazing story and great use of the Planescape world. i've gone with BG2 in the end, however, just because of the sheer scope of that game. while PS:T tells one of the best RPG stories i've ever experienced, i think the massive world in BG2 makes it a more impressive accomplishment overall. they've both exceptionally good games though...two of my all time favorites.
