Kotaku have 3 Xbox 360 videos,of course it isn't going to look as good as the PC version but to be honest i can't tell how good it is,because the quality of the videos are horrible,so i can't really judge the footage at all...in other words,they look like crap<<oh look,i judged

It's official for the 360 version

"Disc one features the stunning multiplayer, co-op levels and HD installation content.

"Disc two features the superb single-player campaign."

HD installation Content is not a misprint/mistake..it is HD as in High Definition and not meaning HDD,so not really sure what that means

I'm guessing they stuffed some resplendent higher definition magnificent textures on the majestic multiplayer disc, which are a pulchritudinous but optional add-on to the stupendous single-player campaign.

Yeah that looks just fine. It's obvious where they cut their corners like the foliage but it looks a lot better than I thought it was going to.

Multiplayer modes

Team Deathmatch

Focus: Team Based Infantry Combat
Goal: Eliminate a set number of enemy combatants

I like squad deathmatch as well.  The 4 team dynamic makes it infinitely more fun and interesting than 2 teams.

DICE has revealed that PS3 owners will get "all full-blown expansion packs" for Battlefield 3 a week early.

PS3's timed exclusive DLC will kick off with the release of the game's first expansion pack, Back to Karkand, later this year.

DICE junior product manager Tommy Rydling said on the PlayStation Blog: "You'll be happy to know that, starting with our first expansion pack Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand, all full-blown upcoming expansion packs for the game will appear one week early exclusively on PlayStation 3!"

Dissapointed with the beta news, DICE were hyping it quite a bit and it turns out just to be the same map from the alpha and still rush mode, better than nothing but I kind of expected something more.

if you can't see it,then go into the store and do a search for 'Battlefield 3'


However...,you can only download it now if you have had that MoH Limited Edition(or whatever it was you needed),otherwise it says that it can not be accessed from your account is

again,if you did not get MoH,then it wont be available to you until the 29th(Thursday)

hopefully,the 360 version will happen soon,and it actually recognizes that i have the Limited Edition of MoH,as i am still not confident that it will

I normally abhor Betas, but this may be one I jump on since I'm so geeked about this game.

Hopefully they will add in another Map with vehicles so we can get a taste of how it plays out.
It's still fun for people who like the series, and I do, but as of right now im a little underwhelmed. I'm buying this anyway and will reserve final judgement on the retail copy of course, and I'm sure the vehicle gameplay will improve things

Yep, during prime time I could not log on.  Early afternoon was the only time i was able to play

Got on and played from about 10pm central to 11:30 or so. Lots of fun!

Loving the suppression mechanic.  Also the fact that you can get plenty of points during a game, even if you aren't killing much of anyone.

They've added 10pts per squad member that spawns on you, plus, after 10 or so spawn on you there is a 200pt squad spawn ribbon. (kills are 100pts)

Feels more lethal than Bad Company. You really need to move smart and know the maps.

Didn't see an actual breakdown of the controls anywhere, so: Left button (360) is grenade, can't cook them as far as I can tell, Right button is knife, Left on D-pad activates your class special (ammo for support, medkit/defib for assault, RPG for engineer, not sure about recon), down on the D-pad switches firing mode from full auto to semi-auto, back button marks targets, X is reload, Y is switch weapon, A is jump/mantle, click Left stick to sprint, click right stick to crouch/stand up, hold it to go prone. If you hold in right stick while sprinting you will dive forward.

Saw a rumor that they will be adding the Caspian conquest map this weekend, no idea if that is true or not.

From looking at the Battlelog site, they are definitely going to have a map with vehicles in the beta. So many options.

Really looking forward to playing around with the laser designators for guided missiles.

Yeah, it has enough variety to be fun, especially with some friends as team mates, but of course the same thing over again gets old.

Unless you are talking counterstrike, where apparently a lot of people have been playing the same map for 15 years or something.

I noticed that the support class unlocks c-4, mortars, and claymores. Sadly neither the mortar or the SOFLAM are in the beta.

Yeah Caspian Border (that features jets, helicopters and all kinds of other vehicles) is in the pc beta at the very least, the password for some private servers leaked and people were able to get in and play on them. Here's a good video showing it off, it's a really awesome map.
