14-min walkthrough of the upcoming RTS at Gamespy.

I don't think I've ever seen water so beautifully rendered in a game before. The game's beefed-up naval component looks amazing. October can't get here soon enough!

It's looking a lot better than the screenshots they had before.  The early shots should never have gotten out because the water effects were poor, and a lot of the art design that now helps unify and make each unit disctinct wasn't in place.

They definitely had to put in the naval aspect if they were going to include Japan as a third faction, but it's good to see a third faction in the game, even if it's got Gundams.  At least they're not the Scrin.

It's also good to see that the pacing isn't so twitchy extreme as C&C3.  Units died quickly still, but it looks like there was time enough to react to events.

I found the graphics intriguing and the commentary very car salesman like. Didn't sound as creepy as the guy that described the game Bioshock before it came out. He had a slithery like lisp. nod

I want this game...now!  I love alternate history games smile  Also, I love the Red Alert universe and I am very pleased that they are revisiting that branch of the Command and Conquer Universe.  Here is hoping to another Red Alert 2 smile

That looks really really cool.   I just hope the combat was sped up for demo purposes the way the building construction was.  Everything seemed to die very quickly, even the "pride of the Allies" carriers.  If this is as fast paced as Command & Conquer 3 I guess I'll have to pass.

From what the guy said, the construction was sped up.  I agree though, I hope units don't die so quickly in this iteration smile

The developers have said that the pace will be slower than C&C 3, which makes me very happy.

Battle Isle slow? ;-)

I'm pumped for this... I still remember Dune, and Dune 2 which, as far as I know, was the first of this kind of game, and C&C took the genre to a whole new level with its storyline and great units.
