Atlus is a good company.

Double Dragon is a loved old school franchise.

Modern remakes of loved old school franchises can be very popular, very fun, see Prince of Persia, Metroid, Ninja Gaiden.

Atlus owns the rights to the Double Dragon franchise.

Atlus needs to create a modern remake of Double Dragon.

I'd be happy with either a fancy graphics version on the 360, or a version customized to the Wii that lets you and a friend punch bad guys with the wiimote'n'chuck.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

I have to confess at first I just saw you calling for a remake of Double Dragon and I thought you meant the movie...

I thought everyone in the world had agreed to pretend that didn't happen.

I'd rather see another Streets of Rage.

Throwing your partner into enemies FTW!

The new game should have FMV with Jean Claude and Paul Walker.

Or Steven Segal and David Carradine.

I'm all a flutter.

What a great idea, Pug!

Double Dragon? Screw that.

I want a proper remake of River City Ransom. And a good one at that (not the shitty GBA port we got of the NES version).

Psh, you call River City Ransom old school?  Double Dragon predates it by 3 years.  I think Double Dragon II was out by the time River City Ransom was released.

Pansies.

Double Dragon had none of the RPG elements that made RCR so good

I know it's not exactly a remake, but I just read this week that Double Dragon with enhanced graphics and online co-op will be coming to XBLA:  http://www.oxm.co.uk/articles/news/hardware/double_dragon_punches_towards_xbox_live_arcade

Double Dragon's a better game, but evenly though it was mentioned here jokingly....I'd prefer a Bad Dudes game!   :icon_eek: paranoid.......ONLY because I've played Double Dragon enough and have it kinda memorized.
I'd much prefer a new version of Double Dragon (a part 4, I guess) with the old style graphics, but I think it's safe to assume I'm in the minority here.  icon_lol

Something I'd prefer even more than those things though is a console version of the ORIGINAL Street Fighter I !!!
Why isn't there one? There wasn't even one onthe Street Fighter comp! (and it was not bought by me for that very reason!)  icon_evil
