I like it more then I thought I would.  The games are pretty good, though mostly just graphical upgrades.  What I really like is the slick menu setup is has, and incredible integration into XBox Live.  Being able to download demos, trailers, use it to stream music, buy amazingly fun cheap arcade games, etc. has made the 360 the most impressive new console I've owned.  

The 360 really feels like an entertainment center now, more then just a game console, and a much more fun toy to play with.  Its fun to kill time doing other stuff, besides the games.

I love mine.  I'm a big home theater nut and have had an High Def. television for 5 years (when there was only a few hours of HD content on per week) so getting the console was a no brainer for me.  I've played quite a bit so far having finished both Kameo and Gun (both short games that I rented) and have messed around with PGR3 and PDZ.

I think the thing I like the most is the interface.  I love checking in with friends in the middle of games and had a good time one night where a friend and I were playing Gun with seperate games, but just chatted as we played.

I own all the current consoles and will get a PS3 as soon as possible, so I'm no particular fanboy just a lover of games.

Very pleased with it.  The whole interface is neat, yet I'm not sure I need another distraction.  Playing with the ccnsole but not playing a *game* feels just a bit weird and perhaps a little dirty.  

Two negatives:

1) When I booted the 360 yesterday I found all of my game saves (as well as my Gamer Account) *gone*.  Haven no idea how it happened.

2) The premium bundle is an incredible value and throws all kinds of bells and whistles in but they couldn't spring for a cheap optical audio cable?  I had to scavenge one off of my Xbox.

Restored the Gamer Card from Live (which I could care less about) but that doesn't do anything about the actual save games (ie the time sinks).  I now have it showing that I've unlocked Bronze Detective or whatever in Condemned despite never having completed a single level.

Did you try Knightshade's thought on reseating the HD? When I was moving mine around to see if my console was having a heat issue, I somehow loosened the HD. It didn't see any gaming profiles on my console, and as I visited the System tab, I noticed that it said I didn't have any external storage devices (memory card/HD) at all.

Removed and reseated my HD and poof - everything worked again.

And if your saves really went poof, I'm sorry. Pain in the rear, I know (brother had some issue that forced him to delete/restore his Gamer Tag on his console - there went all the saves in the process).

As for me liking the console, oh heck yes. Just tired of all my PDZ issues (game should be swapped out tomorrow, assuming my Gamestop has more CE editions lying around somewhere). But Microsoft did a lot of things right here (especially in the online sections). Sony will be hard pressed to beat them when they launch.

Don't think HDD seating was the issue- it saw the HDD (including game demos I had downloaded) just not the saves.  In fact the only thing missing were the 360 game saves- I had payed Halo 2 on my 360 and that save was there.  

And I know for a fact that it had saved the night before because I had gone from PDZ to Condemned back to PDZ.

Its truly bizarre and I wish I knew why it happened.

I am liking mine so far.  Madden has been the only real let-down for me but it still looks incredible.  Condemned has been my favorite so far and I havent even had a chance to play Kameo yet.  Or PDZ online.  Now I probably wont have much time for either until Friday.  

The whole dashboard has also really impressed me so far.  I cant wait to mess around with the live-arcade.

For all the bitching in here about the bad release games (I was one of the bitchers!), I have enjoyed everything I've played.

It's one of the main reasons why I continue to refuse to date.  I have my gaming systems to come home to from work!  The X360 is the pinnacle of gaming systems.  Much better than any woman could hope to ever be!

This survey isn't that good. It's not a black or white issue of liking it or hating it. The Xbox360 should be rated on a scale from 1 to 10 or by a letter grade. There's a significant difference from rating the system a 6 or a 10, but in this poll, they're both under "like it or love it".

I don't quite believe that there is anyone who got a 360 and hates it, which is what those now four votes claim...  If so, I think they'd be able to enter into an intelligent discussion about it.  }shrug{

I'm sure they'd be able to get a good price for even a used 360 on EBay, and then would love it since they'd have enough to buy a really good toy of choice.
