I got a PSP slim recently and picked up Lego Star Wars 2. I have had the system lock up twice in the game with the latest being on the last level in Return of the Jedi when I destroy the core of the Death Star. I'm just curious if this is common with the PSP hardware in general.

Hmmmm, nope. I can't think of one lock-up I've had with my PSP. May be an issue with the latest firmware or Lego Star Wars 2.

Lock-ups aren't common, but I have had a few across various games. Logan's Shadow locked 3-4 times when loading a new level over the course of 12-15 hours.

i've played close to 2 dozen psp games, & never had a lock-up - sounds software-related...

I have had them here and there since the time I bought mine at launch. Nowhere near as many as my 360 and I think my DS maybe has locked up once.

Never ever had my PSP lockup. DS locked up a couple of times but only on Age of Empires I think.

Very rarely . . . much less than a PC would lockup. I assume you are not running custom firmware? Most of my issues are when one of the kids suspends on a loading screen in a game running from the memory stick.

I've had this issue a couple of times with this game as well. Last time was at the end of "Mos Eisley Spaceport" when I had 300,000 pegs and all ten Minikits! Painful shit but it didn't happen on my second pass. |
