Anything new on Xbox 360's backwards compatiblity list?

Strongly considering getting a 360 but there's a few Xbox games that I want as well in particular Counter-Strike and Doom 3.
Dont have an Xbox but no point in getting one this late in the game I can really only afford one new system anyway. I'm thinking of getting Counter-Strike online for cheap now but anyone know for sure if it's one of the compatible games for the 360?
Wish Microsoft would just tell us which ones will be compatible out of the box. Hell I wish they'd just make them all compatible like Sony is doing with the playstation 3. But at least give us an idea, right?
