The wife just finished this last night. I played a bit of the demo but am not really in to these types of adventure games so have no plans of playing the real deal through. That being said it seemed to be a higher quality pixel hunt game. Good graphics, music and voice acting.
There are a lot of puzzles in the game and a few where she had to use a walk-thru for (some lock picking sequence and one where you use a mini-robot) but the general puzzles seemed interesting and well done.
But I would say this is for the more serious pixel hunters out there.

Yeah, I couldn't get into it even though the subject matter looked promising.
However, it's got a pretty good review average and some people really seem to like it.

The review on X-Play made fun of the game because there's a puzzle where you have to make cookies to proceed in your murder investigation. I'm sure X-Play was playing this for laughs, but you have to admit that's a pretty silly puzzle idea.
