Do you guys all play on the same server? I thought it might be fun to play in a more organized squad than just random pickup groups.

Still tweaking settings throughout the day, but it should be usable. Reserved slots functionality is being added, but is not implemented yet. Running each map 4 times before rotation to minimize the 'verifying client data' bottleneck.
I'll be adding a joint CG/OO graphic to the server once I find the required dimensions of it.

heh, server was full before I got the email telling me my own IP address.
Last night I found a server with 11/64 and it was full before I could connect. This game is insanely popular right now since it's so new.

Yeah, that is why a private server would make sense if you had enough people. I don't know what the total would be with OO and CG together on it, maybe Harkonis has a number of people who have contacted him with interest.

server ip is 69.31.96.155, you can use the Join IP button in the browser to connect. Do a search for Hark if you want to search by name.
I can password it for times when we know we'll want to play with just us and will have enough, that's no problem. Once the functionality of reserving slots is put into the game (it's on the way) it'll be a piece of cake for us to guarantee we can get in.
I'm working on getting coverage throughout most of the day to both keep TK'rs and general idiots off the server, and to kick people to make room for members when needed. By next weekend things should be running pretty smoothly, but this weekend it hasn't quite had enough time for me to get it up and running.
I believe we will have a TS server available, and what we'll be doing is an admin will be in there and you can join the TS server and say you're ready to join, we kick a non-member and you should get in.

email me at [email protected] using Harkonis instead of myname Paypal is in the process of being setup, and I'm working on getting a TS server we can use to coordinate getting people in the server. I think Ron has one we can use for that.

Great server, no lag. Though I didn't see anyone I recognized except for Lawbeefroni and Harkonis everyone else was missing.

Oh I'll be there alright.
Either me in a tank as an engineer (kinda fitting that I love driving around in armor).
Or using my mad helicopter skills.

If you are also registered over at OO, you can get into the TS server over there which they are letting us use for BF2 server coordination.
I will also have Xfire up with user name Harkonis.

Control Question: I have tried and tried to set my joystick controls (MS Presision 2) and when I set the yaw and pitch/forward and back, etc. everything is reversed ingame. In game when I move my joystick to the left the jet pitches right. What is up with that? And I can't find an invert to make it do the opposite. It is like it does the exact opposite of what I want it to. It is totally unusable this way and I cannot find where to fix the problem. Anyone else have this issue and figure it out?
Thanks.

There is an invert checkbox but it is for the mouse. It may affect the joystick, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, I have stayed away from the invert mouse button because I cannot play that way. So, I guess I am going to have to try and learn the mouse flight control system. Hate it, but can't get joystick to work.
Thanks.
