Yup - they cancelled mine as well. So I popped over to Outpost and ordered the limited edition for a dollar more.

Mine is still "In process" which means squat to me. I want it shipping by now. (edited) It is shipping now. I have the USPS tracking number. I guess I should be happy since I got it cheap but I just want to have it *now*(edit) Actually I think I will just cancel it myself. My Gamestop has copies of the LE in and it is only $4 more and I won't have to wait for shipping. Everytime I pre-order I end up regretting it. Not because of order issues (like them canceling the order) but because I see the game sitting on store shelves while my order is still shipping. I hate that. Of course Overstock doesn't allow cancelations! Can I cancel an order?

See, I understand saving money-shit in a few weeks I am going to be in desperate need of saving it, but at the same time I would so much rather get an anticipated game the day it comes out and maybe pay 10 bucks more or whatever then have to go to all this constant trouble with Overstock.com and other preorders.

That's strange - I've never had Overstock.com cancel anything on me before. Yeah, it usually takes 7-10 days for one of their cheap games to ship after release, but you get it cheaper.

Overstock cancelled my order as well. No explanation, no notification, nada. That's the second time in a row that they have cancelled all (this time) or part (last time) of my order and didn't even bother to tell me. :x
And when I asked about that last time (via email), they told me that it WAS their policy to notify you when they cancel any part of your order.
I guess that memo hasn't made it all the way 'round the company... :roll:
I think I'm done with "The O".
Went over to EBGames.com and paid a little more, but now at least I know I'll get it.

I just got my copy yesterday from Overstock. I ordered the regular version for $34.88 w/free shipping instead of the Limited Edition for $5 more. They sent me the Limited Edition! And for the $34.88 price tag! How about that!  |

I just don't know what to make of Overstock.com. :?
They cancelled my order, so I went & ordered it somewhere else.
So of course Jade Empire was there on my front porch, from Overstock, on Monday :shock:
I did tell them, though. Now I have 2 (paid for) copies
