Picked this one up yesterday due to all the positive impressions and reviews. Got the last copy they had at Best Buy. Looks like it is selling quite well! Looking forward to firing it up this weekend and digging in to it. smile

Agh, just played the last boss to the main story (I think) and died with 10% left. Since it's a 3-part fight, that means a long fight :-P

Now i have to suck it up tomorrow and try again, but annoyed now  icon_evil

Update, came back and beat it. Played a bit of the after game stuff, but not sure it's enough to hold me any further. I had fun, but wasn't blown away. Solid.

Yep, still grinding away. I believe I am very close to the endgame now. I only have to kill the ultimate bad being. It's a great game.

This is me, too, but Lego City is in the mix, also.

count me in the same boat as Mo..F..er.  Been playing it when the wife grabs the PC.  barely put a dent in it though as I didn't start up until much later.  first JRPG in a long time and first in even longer time that I have enjoyed.

I'm still playing when I get the chance. I think I've put in something like 28 hours or so into the game; I'm not sure how close I am to the end (
Spoiler for Hiden:
I just got the dragon.
). It's been a fun game, although I think I'm no longer into JRPGs so much. At least the battles are generally avoidable.

Sold my copy.  I really wanted to like Ni No Kuni, but the rather dull combat and Pokemon-ish monster collection system fell very flat with me.  The fantastic graphics, music, and characters could only take it so far.
