Just wondering since I got a new 360 whether the saves were somehow tied to my XBL account which I can retrieve once I load it up on my new console?

if you sold it to someone here, you could get them back, depending on two things.
1)  they didn't delete them
2)  you could send them a mem card
3)  ms' wonky drm wouldn't block you from retrieving them.

also know that technically, this is what got a lot of people's tags flagged as cheaters for achievement twinking.

btw, when did you become calvin/atb?

Yeah, my summer classes are over and now I have all this time until the fall semester, and after all the cool E3 announcements and whatnot I couldn't help but jump back in. "Just when I thought I was out... They pulled me back in".
