Math was never my strong suit, but I know a big frickin' number when I see one.

Something also to consider - this was the NFL seeking to bring exclusivity to the merchandising. EA was just the highest bidder in the process, and more power to them. I may not agree with it, but it was not something they did for illegal reasons.
Also, 14K signitures won't get the NFL to bat an eye lash. If 10 of the NFL owners personally saw their money earned during the 2005-06 season, then and only then would the NFL main office pay attention.
