The other day(Friday) i got a message saying "Somebody wants to report u"

thats all,nothing else

I didn't know the guy who sent it,so i just left it,the only online game i play is COD with MIC off,so if someone really does want to report me,i can't really imagine why,i don't cheat or glitch on COD(as my score so often shows)

A few years ago,my account sent out bogus COD beta details to a lot of people on my friends list,so i had to change all my details..so its why i am a bit iffy about replying to strangers,as i think that's how i got hacked last time

Today the same guy sent two more messages

"Do u have Fifa 14?"

(No i don't)

and 20 minutes later

"Did you make a video for MW3 and Black Ops?"
(Yes one for Black Ops 25 seconds long and one for MW3 10 seconds long)

The gamertag in question does not look suspicious, but i don't know any of his friends

What would you do?,would you reply?..am i being over cautious?

Those folks are what the console systems (both of them) call friends.   They can message you and game with you.   Usually it's someone you know or who knows you.

Hope that helps.

Even if there's no harm in replying to this person, what benefit could there possibly be?  The person spamming your account with vague warnings and inane questions is not a lonely billionaire looking to give away a free island to the first person who engages him in an Xbox Live conversation.

There is nothing to gain here.  Ignore it.

Yeah, but Skype video proved that it does come in a small package.

You still trying to cross-breed strains to create a master race of herpes?
