I got home today and started downloading all the E3 goodies on by box.  My 5 year old ask to play Star Wars, not a problem...5 min. in to his gaming joys he runs out in the living room to inform me of a red Xbox and his frozen game...I don't think I need to explain the feeling that came over me at that point, we all experienced it  Tongue. Did the usual trouble shooting to no success it would last green for no more that 5min before the rings would show its ugly face.

Called Gamestop
Me: is _________ or __________ there
Rep: yes
MGR: whats up? you aint preorderd in a while.
Me: nothing good. it going to get worset because my box died.
MGR: When
Me:10min ago.
MGR: you got the insurance?
Me: yes I do
MGR: I got you covered then. How long will it take you.
Me: 7min.
MGR: I'll have your box waiting.

20min and 2 pre orders later I have a new Xbox360 a 5 year replacement plan.  Something about Microsoft doing 3years on all new boxes along with the Gamestop 2year insurance plan.
I Love happy ending. Now back to downloading my E3 goodies. icon_biggrin

I was proposition to get the Elite for $78.00 but since the motherboard was the same I declined. Should I have gone with it?

Well, it's got that extra glue holding down the motherboard, but I don't know how much of a difference it makes.

you would have at least gotten the extra 100 gigs of HD space and the HDMI output.

I taught about that.. Then the taught of my current back log and having to start all over on everyone of them......Not worth it. Remember, its an upgrade so I will have to give up my current HD, and the store won't transfer it for me.
