Dimmona, i like how you put that the Revolution "won't have sucky graphics", lol, what a selling point. At least they have joined the rest of the world in going backwards compatible. i was really getting tired of buying a new console for almost every Zelda game - and for the Cube at least, playing it for maybe five other games.
and i'm not going anywhere near Animal Crossing Online! first, it will probably cost money, second - it could be the end of my life as i know it! that silly Cube version was goofy, dopey, juvenile, etc. - and i played it forever. i really, really hope it costs money to go online with my DS  ...and that you can't somehow import your town

And just when I thought I wouldn`t buy this next-gen Nintento console... I`m even more thrilled about animal crossing now, and I didn`t think that was possible.

Dimmona, i like how you put that the Revolution "won't have sucky graphics", lol, what a selling point. It's unfortunate that Mr. Iwata has basically phrase the system capabilities this way, because it seems that most people believe that since Nintendo is focusing so much on "innovation" for their next console that it automatically means they will be behind the curve from a hardware power standpoint (as half the threads on this page attest to). It was nice of him to remind us that hey, just because we're going to have a controller that attaches to your prostrate in order to work doesn't mean that we're not going to be capable of putting out some pretty stuff... (since so many people here are so focused on graphics)

yeah, it's certainly unfortunate that he felt that he had to talk like that - didn't anyone show him Depward's "Legend of Zelda trailer" post? i would hope he's not saying that the Revolution's graphics could possibly be worse than Zelda's on the Cube! maybe he just doesn't check in with us often enough.
i'll have my people talk to his people...

And if you're bored and want to look at Nintendo's official PR, visit here: http://www.consolegold.com/PressReleases/index.php?PRID=1985 On another note - I just looked over the Zelda screenshots, and, well, I'm impressed. Finally - the Zelda we (IMHO) have all been waiting for.

Well they atleast took the first RIGHT step to clear stuff up. Definately sound a lot better than what we were hearing. If they deliver a lot of titles like that New Zelda, the revolution could be a mighty nice system...

Hmm ... I wonder how GC games would play on the new control scheme Nintendo has under wraps for the Revolution. I guess it can't be that different.

either that or you can plug Cube controllers into the revolution for a more conventional system...

oh, thanks a lot for that link, Destructor! Nintendo soon will offer a free Wi-Fi connection service to Nintendo DS(TM) owners. free... which smiley is for a long, resigned sigh?
