Anarchy Reigns

So I got this game as a present, not sure if I would have picked it up even though it costs just $30. If you're a fan of Bayonetta's craziness, or a fan of good beat-em ups, give Anarchy Reigns a try.
The only regret I have now is the preorder exclusives like actually having Bayonetta herself and a few multiplayer game modes.
Campaign mode has two separate storylines that you pick in the beginning, and is used primarily to unlock other characters for the multiplayer or skirmish modes (only a third of the characters are unlocked, the other two thirds is unlocked by completing both campaigns)
The fighting in itself is deceptively deep, unlike Dynasty warriors. And even at normal difficulty the game is hard enough that you will have to employ all your characters skills to survive and do well.  Learning curve is about medium since every button on the control pad is utilized.

Thanks for the heads-up.  I'd never even heard of this one, but am certainly interested.  Anything that warrants a Bayonetta comparison is worth a look in my book.

You're probably right Forge, luckily I haven't had any trouble finding other players yet since its new. I'm just glad that they included bot support to fill in missing slots.
