Does anyone know if savegames/progress from the demo translates to the full version?  I've got a friend who's been playing the demo, who's interested in finding out.

It does not. But the game doesn't start exactly where the demo does and the sections from the demo are spread out throughout the game. So there will be moments of retreading what was in the demo but its not that big of a deal. There will be new stuff before/after those sections.

almost 200K units sold!  not bad since they say they figured they'd do 100K or so.  they do bring it down to earth with the fact a lot of those sales have been made when the game was on sale though.

So the bummer with getting games well past their release date is that everybody else has moved on. I'm enjoying this although it's not quite as scary as advertised. It is fun though. At least until the cistern level. Anyone else Have trouble with that? I had no idea the stuck side was stuck in the correct position. A little help would have been appreciated.

finally fired this up over the weekend, but I'm going to put it on hold until I get a good set of headphones for the PC.

Frictional won the D2D Vision award at 13th Annual Independent Games Festival, which netted them $10k.

finally been playing around with this using headphones, and I'm just not feeling it.  it feels like the game is being way to slow in getting anywhere; so far it's just a bunch of running around with very little creepy stuff going on.

It's because of all that machismo you have stored up.
