I just downloaded and played Dyson, which is an abstract RTS game set in an asteroid belt. Basically, you're trying to send out your seedlings to take over the asteroid belt. I won in just under 30 minutes, and it was really cool to see it all go down.

Also amazing: this game is apparently procedurally generated!

First, thanks to Naednek for moving this to the right forum.

As fun as I find this game, for the first time ever with an RTS, I'm wishing this game were more difficult. I also wish it had multi-player.
The more I play this, though, the more this seems like a super simplified RTS. Instead of resource gathering, you just grow seedlings, which also happen to be your units. Those units are used to colonize planets, plant new trees, and fight foes. If you make 6 trees on a planet, it will usually equalize at 32 seedlings, which you can move to other planets which starts that first planet growing more seedlings. The biggest army I've had was over 100 seedlings, but I keep it calm and slow paced. I can imagine people beating this game within about 15 minutes, but as I said it takes me about 30 minutes.

A cool little locust simulator.  nod

It needs some indication of victory though; I eradicated the evil greens and then waited for like five minutes before I realized nothing was going to happen.
