Why did you remove two really good games from the Midway Arcade Treasures two? S.T.U.N. Runner and Steel Talons are now missing from this title. Those, along with Hard Drivin and Narc were some of the reasons I was looking forward to this pack. This was the original lineup: A.P.B. Arch Rivals Championship Sprint Cyber-Ball Gauntlet 2 Hard Drivin’ Mortal Kombat Mortal Kombat 2 Mortal Kombat 3 NARC Pit Fighter Primal Rage Rampage World Tour Spy Hunter 2 Steel Talons STUN Runner Timber Total Carnage Wizard of Wor Xenophobe Xybots
And this is how it looks now: A.P.B.™ Arch Rivals™ Championship Sprint™ Cyberball 2072™ Gauntlet® 2 Hard Drivin’® Kozmik Kroozr’™ Mortal Kombat® 3 Mortal Kombat® II NARC® Pit Fighter™ Primal Rage® Rampage World Tour® Spy Hunter® 2 Timber™ Total Carnage™ Wacko™ Wizard of Wor™ Xenophobe® Xybots™
Now, don't get me wrong. There are some good titles out there in this pack, but Talons and STUN Runner are both based on the Hard Driving hardware engine. I don't see why they were dropped.

Son of a bitch! I was totally looking forward to STUN Runner!
Huh, looks like they dropped the original Mortal Kombat also. Odd.
So where did you find this updated information? I couldn't find anything on Midway's site.

It was a press release that was posted to the news page. I didn't notice it on Monday when I checked my email. Look here: http://www.consolegold.com/PressReleases/index.php?PRID=1137

So where did you find this updated information? I couldn't find anything on Midway's site. The new Mortal Kombat - AttaKK of the Klones (or whatever it's kalled) is inkluding the original arkade Mortal Kombat in it. I'm guessing they decided not to inklude it in both upkoming game releases.

I would have loved to see STUN Runner in this package (with deliciously responsive analog control, yum!). I don't know how it would hold up, but I can't say it would be the same game without the special controls. I figure it would be a nice game, but I will always remember the control.
I am not surprised MK was dropped. When it was announced it would be included in the newest MK game I kind of wondered about it. It would have been nice to have all three in one package, but II and 3 are good still enough for me. Throw in a little Pit Fighter and I'm good.
I'm still all over this when it is released.
I would like to see a similar set with NEO GEO games. That future soccer game was one of my favorite. Baseball Stars (man, the first BS was THE game to own on the NES!) and the Spy game (don't recall the title) were great. The usual list of classics also apply.

I still believe it's my favorite game of all time... bar none. Noting better than the first time you got a team good enough to beat the americain dreams on a regular basis.

However, there are lots of good games for the Lynx worth getting... Reminds me - I'm like 3 games short of the entire collection of games for the system thanks to eBay. I really should finish it...
