OK, I just got my box from Microsoft. Dumb question, but how do I open the foam things to put on the 360? The parts that are supposed to go outside to protect the side are still on the inside of the foam? I don't want to accidently break the foam...

I know what it is SUPPOSED to look like... but the things start on the inside of the rectangular frame of the foam...

I still have no idea what part's giving you trouble, so here's another pic of what the hi-tech complicated foam mechanism is supposed to look like. slywink

Sigh, I'll play with it more. Mine did not come with the foam protruding from the horizontal plane... they were turned inward so it looks more two dimensional.

Azhag:did you not get a A4 sized piece of paper with instructions and diagrams showing how to set up the foam?(and other things)..i did but it maybe different for America

you just push on the inserts of the foam and slot the 360 onto them...and no the inserts dont actually break off

i have just found my box

you push the inserts(if its the same foam)and kind of twist them,so that the U shape(on the inserts of the foam) is above,or horizontal if you like..and this creates a kind of foam frame on the other side for the end of your 360 to sit in..and then do the same on the oppersite side with the other peice of Foam...i'm sorry,i guess i am not really good at explaining it,(its harder than i thought explaining it)LOL

It was this moment that took the movie from being a little ho-hum to “holy shit, did that shark just eat a plane!?”

Ok, I got it, yeah the twist thing is what had me worried when I started doing it.

Side question, is it free for UPS to pick it up here or should I drop it off there?

I missed the joke there.  A4 paper = around letter size.

We do.  We don't have the A4 type sizes that fit perfectly together in ways that make mathematical sense.  We call regular paper "eight and a half by eleven," though it's technically called "letter," and the longer 8.5" x 14" paper "legal."

WTF???..so you dont have A3,A4 and A5 sizes....you guys crack me up

i cant say the other sizes are even used that much..unless you are David Brent in that paper company

i dont know why i am posting this picture...it means absolutely nothing to me

just think of A4 as the average size of a magazine(OXM if you like)...A5 is smaller and A3 is bigger

that ends todays lesson

We do have the sizes, but no one uses the terminology outside of printing and design companies...
