There's a high-res trailer at TeamXbox.

If you slow the thing down at one point, you can see two cars drive under an underpass with two roadsigns: Brooklyn Bridge and FDR Drive.

Looks like they're going back to New York -- it should be awesome.

This is the one I KNOW I'm getting at launch.  Everything else is secondary, unless Oblivion comes out on launch day too.  In that case, I'm getting both, and will be feeling guilty that I'm playing PGR3 and not Oblivion.  biggrin

where's the excitement for FORZA?

I mean, hardly anyone plays online compared to the PGR days.

It was this moment that took the movie from being a little ho-hum to “holy shit, did that shark just eat a plane!?”

You have?  I haven't seen those either.  This may explain lots.

Why is it so fuzzy?  Screenie looks pretty "OK", but nothing pants wetting...  Are you all referring to the video (Which I haven't seen)?

So did you guys watch the PRG3 trailer?  It looks like they're redoing Tokyo (also from the first game).  I'm a little disappointed as well -- they've added crowds in the streets and a whole racing TV network overlay to the replays.  One of the things I enjoyed about the other two in the series is that it was more a fantasy of driving through open, empty city streets.  Now it looks like it may become just another games of racing circuits within a city.  That's a real let down.

I think Gotham TV is for the spectator modes in Live.  It was said at E3 that hundreds of people could be watching a Live race while it was going on.  A NASCAR-like television feel I am guessing.  I doubt it will look like that from the driving perspective.

So the question I have is.....

In PGR2, the "playback mode" is way better looking then the game mode.   Are we seeing a similar design in PGR3?   That is all playback video from what I can tell.  I would love to see footage of being actually behind the wheel.
