my main concern is when i use the right flipper,8 times out of 10 it hits the left bumper and shoots back down the middle,of course all this happens in a millionth of a second,LOL...I haven't lost my ball any other way yet,makes me very wary on even using the right flipper,end of flipper shots are out of the question

i have that same complaint with several of the tables, particularly Wolverine.   i swear that damn table cheats

I still don't understand how loot works... seems like sometimes I can keep my previous item and sometimes I am left with two crappier options. Can I reject them? How does this work?

ya i don't know about that either....nor do i understand how ping has a score of 1,000+million

I'm now thinking it just keeps your current armor regardless unless the new option is better, and you can just tell what happens from the "new item sold, or old item sold". That said, I'm not sure how much items really matter...

I managed to get 80 mil today, but Ping's 1.4 billion is a ways off...

The secret to getting a good score is in the multiball I don't even go for the other objectives I just try to get to multiball as soon as possible.

I read somewhere that when they do Pinball FX3,that it will again be free to download the base package and you transfer all your tables across,hopefully wont be for awhile yet,because i don't feel it needs it,but in the end Pinball FX3 will have hundreds of tables


Still not tried the new Pinball game that appeared yesterday on XBLA,i have a friend on my friends list who is a big FX fan and he was not a fan of this new one,but i am still gonna at least trial it out

The PS3/Vita version of Pinball FX2 (Zen Pinball 2) is out on Tuesday. It's free and upgrades all the old tables (and Marvel Pinball tables) just like Pinball FX2 did for the old Pinball FX tables.

Also, the Plants vs Zombies table will be out on PSN on the 4th.

Zen Pinball's productive relationship with Marvel Entertainment has delivered 14 virtual tables to Pinball FX2 on the Xbox 360 and Marvel Pinball on the PS3, as well as on mobile devices. There's going to be a 15th table coming up soon: "Civil War," taken from the 2006 crossover continuity pitting Captain America versus Iron Man.

It's not two tables, just one, but players will be asked to choose which side they want to fight for, Iron Man (in favor of the Superhuman Registration Act) or Captain America (against it.) Either choice will create different allies and missions/boss battles for you. Cap might get help from The Punisher, whereas Iron Man gets an assist from the Thunderbolts.

A release date was not mentioned. "Civil War features amazing slow-motion combat animations Iron Man and Captain America, each battling for what they see is right," said an official news release. "The number of followers amassed to each cause determines the difficulty of each fight, as determined by striking the proper targets and ramps, some of which materialize in thin air."

Zen's pinball offerings are available on the PS3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, PC, Mac, Android and iOS devices.

Can anyone comment on quality of Fantastic 4 vs Avengers vs World War Hulk? I'd also like to know what super-gimmicky features they have (aside from animated characters) like switching the flippers. I know the Avenger table has multiple balls, but not sure what they do.

Zen Classics(which i think is the PS3 tables)are coming to Pinball FX 2 tomorrow for 800 points

I am guessing its just those 4 tables,but not 100% sure

FWIW the game with all the DLC now add up to 94 achievements and 1900 gamerscore

First, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita gamers may also buy the set of three for $9.99 (€9.99 in Europe) as DLC for the Zen Pinball 2 game available in the PlayStation Store. The set comes with cross-play entitlement, meaning the same purchase is good for PlayStation Vita and PS3. North American PS3 and Vita customers get the set on Feb. 26; it releases in Europe on Feb. 27.

On Feb, 27, The tables will be available in a pack of three for the Xbox 360's longstanding Pinball FX2 game. The set is 800 Microsoft Points ($10).

The tables also are available on Feb. 27 a la carte for those with Zen Pinball 2 on the Mac App Store (where they are $2.99 each) or Zen Pinball on the iTunes (iOS) App Store ($1.99 each). Android devices with Zen Pinball HD can buy the tables for $1.99 each on Google Play beginning Feb. 27.

The series will also be available as a standalone app on the iTunes App Store and Google Play, as Star Wars Pinball.


Notably, there is neither a Wii U nor a 3DS release. Zen Pinball just released for Wii U on the Nintendo eShop, and it's been out in a standard-definition form on the Nintendo 3DS for more than a year.

FYI the tables are available on iOS. They all seem pretty decent from the little I played of each. The Empire table seems the most complex of the three and the Clone Wars the least - Boba in the middle. They do not have all the original voice actors audio for everyone I quickly noticed. Luke doesn't sound quite right. Han and Yoda sound pretty close though.

The tables have all the regular standard wackiness of the Zen tables although I think a new trick seems to be a pop up ramp in the center table. On the Empire table the ball uses the ramp the fly in the air - I think I was trying to hit astroids but they were off screen so couldn't tell for sure. On the Clone Wars table it sends the ball up the ramp in and to a ship which collects it and flys off to another part of the board. Kinda fun.

Will have to read the instructions for each table to really figure them out though.
