The ramp on the right will eventually lead to a reasonably high scoring 4 ball multiball. Just keep hitting it over and over. During this multiball, hit all of the ramps, but try to hit the right ramp every chance you get as it can extend the multiball. The shark multiball can be a high scorer if you can managed to feed the shark or whatever by hitting the left orbit after hitting a ramp. In all of the multiballs, just keeping things going (feeding sharks, hitting the mine ramp, getting super jpots) gets you a bonus (5M usually) at the end of the multiball. Make sure you hit the ramps on the upper playfield on the left. They relight the magnasaves for the outlanes. You can have these charged up to 3 times I think. Get them charged every chance you get. IMO, this table is really about keeping the ball in play and getting lucky or in the zone on a few multiballs when they eventually happen.

Pingwrx we're counting on you to bring home the gold for the GT team. Just took over first place with 1.4 billion will see how long that stands.

This is from the Zen forum I never go for the multipliers myself seems like a waste of time. Really too risky to go for the species target imo. First, hit the new species targets on the right side of the board (fairly easy if you're willing to not advance the rescue sub). Second, load the ball into the left plunger through the left drain (a little harder to do consciously but still straightforward). Finally, perform the skill shot on the flashing species. This procedure strikes me as kind of hard, but I haven't seen how significant the multiplier will be (I'm paused right now after activating 2x for the first time) and you do get 2 million for the skill shot. I'll be going for this for at least my next 10 games or so, just to see if my final scores improve considering the increased risk over just hitting the ramps. ETA: I should note that I never really paid much attention to the new species area; it appears to be one moving target, so it looks like you have to hit it twice to activate the left plunger (once to light it up, second activates).

All the talk of FX got me to play Zen on the PS3 again. As much as I like FX, I prefer the Zen tables. I picked up two of the newer ones (Mars and paranormal) and I really am loving the Mars table. I'd buy some of those tables again (Mars, Tesla, Shaman etc.) if they made them available in FX2.

I've tried to use the follow the ball view, but that just gets me dizzy - I believe I'm using view 5 now ( can't remember - will have to check later ).

I can only use view number 6 because playing multiball I have to keep track of the upper playing field and the botom at the same time.

Someone on the Zen forums talked about mars and Paranormal coming to FX2 I'll see if I can dig it up.
Paranormal is really strange...in a good way I guess. I didnt play it terribly long, but the visuals and sounds are designed to make you feel uncomfortable I think. Unusual table to say the least. I will certainly give it another go. Mars is really cool. The layout of the table is fairly open, which I prefer. As you play, some additional elements get added on to the field (there's a shuttle, a satellite, and a robotic spider), which are used in the mission elements. I love pinball but I can't play for long periods because I've been having trouble with my right wrist and I don't want to overdo it. I have to avoid using my right thumb as well, so I tend to play with index fingers on L1/R1. I have the bad habit of pressing the buttons much harder than is necessary, which doesn't help.

I always keep my own display in upper left corner medium so it does'nt cover up anything.

Yeah, I'm psyched for these pinball tables.
I wrote up the review for Pinball FX2, and I don't know if I'll be doing these tables, but I think these are the best tables yet.

what other themed tables would you like to see?
i was thinking about this before,i guess DC tables would be very welcome..then i started thinking that an Indiana Jones table would be fun, they could stick that Giant Rolling Boulder in somewhere....maybe even a Beatles table,The Cavern in one corner,Shea Stadium in another
any other ideas?
there are a lot of Table themes Zen could do,i hope they stick to it and keep releasing tables and not just stop with them because time has gone by

I've played them all, and they're good. Iron Man seems to be the weakest overall, IMO. Wolverine is good (though the VO is terrible). The most viscerally interesting (and fun to play for me) are Blade and Spider-Man. I love the use of cages as webs with the ball whipping through them. I had read that Blade's day/night cycle was too distracting, but I thought it was a lot of fun.

yeah i like them all but i think perhaps Blade is the weakest for me,dunno not had much time with them all yet
Spider-Man when the flipper controls change, was a nightmare!!..just a simple thing like switching the left and right triggers and i was screwed, thankfully you didn't lose a ball at that time

My technique to combat right/left confusion is to hit both flippers in that instance. I like the Wolverine table best. Spiderman is a bit too over the top ramp-y to take the #1 spot. It goes in #2. Then Blade. Iron Man is #4 for gameplay, though I really like how he suits up and and does battle.
The tables feel -very- different from the previously released stuff.

Having played all of these now for some time I would rank them from best to worse:
1. Spiderman 2. Blade 3. Iron Man 4. Wolverine
I have wolverine last because it seems way easy to drain the ball down either side gutter, you really have to concentrate on keeping the ball in the middle of table otherwise it's gone. Has anyone noticed on iron man that there are no sound effects other than the music and the characters occassionally saying someting. Question do you guys use the nudge feature alot? I don't and maybe that is my problem on Wolverine constantly losing the ball.
