i have got all tables now, quite enjoying them,i think i did best on the Aladdin table(whatever its called),quite a few mini games on that one

i also got the EDF table, which is a lot better than some of the older tables as there is a lot of space above the flippers and the ball is not immediately rebounding back like some other tables(Extreme!!)

oh and i got the 5000 Wizard Score(which i am guessing you guys have already got),and unlocked the snazzy avatar shirt,i doubt i will be able to unlock the Wizards Robe though for 100k

I'm trying hard to unset ping on *one* table.  I've managed one, but he's already posted a higher score than he had this morning.  Hopefully I can hold out a bit longer until I figure out how to get a good score on another table.

Maybe we should start a thread in the Multiplayer section for these tags?  I haven't logged on my 360 in a bit, so I'm going to have to open this and scroll back to find everyone smile

Well, I meant for Pinball exclusively, but I can just use this ( when I finally get a chance to fire up the 360 )

i was just reading it on Kotaku and was about to jump the gun and complain why they couldn't release it within Pinball FX2...but i held off and actually read the rest of the article...i can't wait for these

it says out before the end of 2010,and no pricing yet...hopefully it will be 800 for all 4

R & B, while made a little worse with the new batch, was actually one of the better early DLC tables for FX1.  It's still decent.  Speed Machine and Extreme were the weakest of the original and Nightmare Mansion doesn't have much going on except that sunken level.

So, on Biolab I'm getting better at getting a skill shot using the shake-the-table method.  But mostly, when it comes to pinball, I just hit the ball.  Do you guys stick with one table and learn the mini-games?  Basically I'm look for tips and tricks smile

The key to big scores is to complete the missions.  That, and getting multi ball going and then nailing the jackpot multiple times.

As for tables, I think the original tables are the weakest of the bunch.  They seem so how not as good as when I played them in the original pinball fx.  I like Rome.  Pasha is probable my favorite though.

I'm unclear about something with this upcoming set of Marvel Tables.

In the front page article, it mentions Pinball FX2 is coming to PSN, but PSN already has it's own version of pinball by the same guys: Zen Pinball (which, until FX2 was released, was the better game).  I figured the Marvel tables would go straight there, but are they really releasing FX2 for PS3?  It seems redundant.

The key to getting high scores on Biolab is to get the multiball going and go up the ramps to get the jackpots. Thats what I did all game long when I finished with I think over 350 million can't remember the score right now.

The marvel stuff looks pretty good.

My least favorite by far is buccaneer.  Bored to tears.

My scoring methods are:

Secrets of the deep:  Get the ball to the upper playfield via the mine ramp (furthest to the left).  Keep the ball in play up there as much as possible.  The mine ramp will start multiballs for big points.  You'll also accidentally start shark attacks which are big points.  Keep those multiballs going as long as possible.  That's it.  I just like trying to hit the ship targets with the swingy ball  icon_biggrin

Pasha:  Abuse the spinner.  Snake multiballs are worth a lot of points.  The spinner is a very safe shot.  Try to hit the compass points for the 5M oasis, but you can probably get close to 5M by just abusing the spinner oasis shot from the left orbit (it's a tough shot IMO).  The magnet game is worth a lot of points, hit the palace whenever possible.  The book of tales is very risky.  It's a tough shot close to the flippers.  I never try to start a tale intentionally.  I get all of my points from palaces and snake multiballs.

Biolab:  Ahhh, I just hit the monster thing.  Over and Over.  Clone multiballs should happen from time to time and you're all set.  Experiment to find the correct strength for the 8X skillshot, it's worth it.

Rome:   My score sucks.  I drain from hitting the ramps way too often to score well.  Also, the modes on this one seem difficult (requiring a lot of shots, or timed shots, or avoiding some while hitting others), but it could just be me.  The mission start scoop is small and requires a good shot or you risk a quick drain.

I'd love to hear other scoring strategies.  I play pinball like I play golf, try to stay out of trouble.

Seriously, R&B is a ton of fun, especially if you're on the 40+ range and grew up watching those toons.

actually i think me and Bull ARE fans of the show(i am guessing Bullwinkle is a fan icon_wink)...i certainly grew up watching the toons(and Roger Ramjet),and i still think from time to time that i may get that R+B XBLA game(the minigames thing)...i just think the table was better before FX2,now they have that brick wall slap bang in the middle of the table that it seems you are hitting all the time and the pinball doesn't 'go' anywhere most times because of it icon_confused..i can usually get a modest score with the table though

did you play the R+B table on FX1?

Anyone care to share some tips for this table as my best is around 12m.  My goal is to spell out shipwreck and to also get a shark attack multi ball.  I know there are other ways to get multi-balls but I have no idea how nor have I stumbled upon it.

I can tell you how I got my 23 million.  If you hit that first left ramp, which is the Mine Ramp, about 4-5 times, you'll hit a Mine Frenzy.  You get two balls, and you can rack up a lot of jackpots.

If you keep the ball up in the upper area long enough trying to get the shipwreck, you'll hit the shark multiball, which you can rack up jackpots there.

If you hit the right ramp enough times, you can lock enough balls to get the probe multiball, which is what really scored me a bunch of points.

But even through all of that work, I couldn't get above 23 million.  I have no clue how someone got to a billion points....
