early reports on the game seem at least mildly favorable...cool graphics, catchy music, and addictive gameplay.  i'll admit that i'm a little intrigued by the idea, but i'm not sure it will be worth 800 points.  initial impressions tomorrow should be interesting...

Hmm, it definitely sounds interesting.  I'm all for a variety of titles.  But what about Band of Bugs?

Pretty sure this is by the same guys that did Geometry Wars.  It's pretty fun but nowhere near as good as GW.  It's basically like playing DDR with a controller instead of a footpad.  The music is not really my thing though - kind of techno reworkings of classical songs.

I did not expect to enjoy this game as much as I have.  Playing vs with papa smurff was quite fun.  I don't look forward to when he starts beating me regularly.

Played the demo for five minutes and then deleted it - it sucks.

I'm not going to be quite so inflammatory as CSL, but I'm not going for the full product, either.  I was expecting to really like this game, but it got a lukewarm reaction from me, at best.  Meh.

For the cheap price it ain't bad. I'm not buying it though.

MS should be "giving away" some arcade titles to Gold adopters to sweeten the pot.

I played this for a couple minutes and then deleted it.  I don't think giving people only the Hard difficulty to try out was really a smart choice, as it certainly turned me off the game.

I hit the face buttons with my thumb, and making me hit two of them at the exact same time after only 10 seconds of playing made me say that "this just isn't for me".  But I guess I'm not really into that sort of game anyway, which is one of the reasons I haven't bothered to try Guitar Hero.

I had the same exact reaction.  Why the hell did the only give you an easy and a hard?  And hitting two at once several times in a row was a deal-breaker.

I love GH2.  Just saying.

My demo had easy, medium and hard available.  Easy and medium for one song, and hard for another.  You only tried the one song with hard?

No, I tried the Easy, too.  I'd forgotten about the Medium on the other song, but I tried that, as well.

I only tried the one song a couple times (which only had hard available).  I didn't realize the other song had the Easy and Medium difficulties.

This is the worst attempt at a rhythm game in the history of rhythm games.

Seconded. It took me two minutes of play on Easy before I despised it. Horrible, horrible game. Absolutely without charm.

Bummer... less people on my friend's list to compete for scores against.

Of course opinions differ... some people like Zelda and Mario games.   icon_lol

I am a rhythm game whore, so when I get back to the U.S., unless the game really, really sucks, I will be there for you.
