Hi all - I searched the other Shadow Complex thread and cannot find an answer to my question - so here goes.

I noticed last night while playing for the first time an ambient 'waves crashing on the shore' background sound during the entire hour or so that I played. It was not very discernable but was definitely there the entire time - even during the first cut scene with his dad.

Anyone else notice this? Listen carefully - there was a constant repeating waves crashing on the shore on every level.

Am I crazy?

Thanks in advance,
Roman

I got as far as the helicopter 'rescue' so I know about the water aspect. But should I still have been hearing ambient waves crashing even outside  retard

Are you sure you're not getting that sound in other games? The reason I ask is because I had a similar sound with my PC that was caused by a coaxial cable being slightly unseated from the connection on my headphones input box. Otherwise I don't recall waves in SC despite playing most of the time with my headphones.

I noticed some weird sound stuff in the game, but mostly sounds missing or being very quiet. Nothing like what you described.
