this is due out next week on the 15th according to id. Anyone going to give it a spin? I figure I'll grab at least the trial just to see how well it has held up and translates to the 360.

I'm guessing it will be like the (Quake 3-based) Quake Live game that just left beta back in August. This would have been a sweet chance to pull out the Shadowrun-type PC and Console compatibility thing.

I bought Quake 3 : Arena when it was on sale at Steam, and it's still a blast to play. I guess what people want now is the team-based multiplayer games like Call of Duty, but I much prefer these kinds of simple FPS games.
