This came out today, and it is simply fantastic.
It's like a stealth version of Shadow Complex, though there are individual levels instead of one big building. The art style feels more hand-drawn and is just perfect.
Control is great. Story is good so far.
I bought the full game less than five minutes into the demo.

I am trying to get the word out on this game as I saw it at PAX and thought it was great. I mentioned it in the weekly buy thread, but was too lazy to start my own, so glad you did.

Total Biscuit ran a gameplay video of this a couple days ago. Looks great. I may have to boot up my Xbox for the first time in over 6 months.

Played about 45 minutes and the game is just awesome. The stealth works really well and you can make the game as hard or easy as you want. You get extra points for not killing any enemies and that can take some thinking on how to accomplish that goal. I've only opened up a couple of gadgets and there a ton to chose from. The enemies are interesting as well and have some cool tactics.
Don't hesisate go and buy it tonight and have a fun ninja weekend.

played the trial and it was pretty fun, but in the process I also noticed how many full XBLA titles I have that I haven't finished, so I'll be waiting for either a sale or when I finish up that backlog, whichever comes first.

I'm about 5 levels in now and it has already become one of my favorite titles of the year. I think the thing I love most is that it rewards stealthy play heavily but it never punishes you if you screw up and have to kill a couple people; you just get less rewards in the end. Nothing aggravates me more in a stealth game then when setting off an alarm results in instant failure.

Played the first two levels last night. Tons of fun. Got through the second level with no alarms and no kills. CHEEVOS!

Looks like there are 12 or 13 levels (I've seen conflicting reports) and about 6 - 8 hours of gameplay, but it looks like there are some reasons to replay levels, too.
For example, I'll have to replay the first level, since I didn't realize that you scored points for not killing anyone.

There's usually several challenges associated with the levels, and you'll need to complete 3 of each type to unlock different Ninja suits that alter the gameplay.

Agreed. Great art style, fun gameplay and you can play it how it suits you. Really digging this and am amazed it isn't getting more love from MS itself. This should have been the headliner for the summer promo.

This is the best release of the year so far on their service, and I saw Microsoft Studios on the splash screen. you would think they would be pumping this title up.

It should have been the headliner for Summer of Arcade, I wonder why it wasn't, considering how weak SoA was this year and how good this game is.

Finished this tonight. An excellent game that I enjoyed from start to finish. I really dont have anything negative to say about the game; it's just an all around great experience. Maybe a slightly longer ending would have been nice but I thought it was clever and appropriate.
New game plus mode also makes you feel like a complete badass. Even though enemies will pretty-much one shot you in new game+ you get to keep all your upgrades from the game so you can do things that were impossible in your first play-though. I ended up replaying the first three levels after finishing the game just because it was so fun being able to stealth run past enemies while paragliding between buildings with the end game upgrades.

The game is very cool if you're at all interested in stealthy ninja killing. And if you aren't, you should probably re-examine your life.

Holy crap, how did one of you not smack me over the head and tell me to buy this?! Played through the first couple levels on PC tonight and absolutely loved it. Still trying to get the hang of the controls, but it nails the stealth aspects perfectly and look gorgeous. Can't believe I hadn't heard about it...

Oops, I posted on this in another thread not realizing this was here. Yeah I picked this up after enjoying the side-scroller Zombie platformer Deadlight. Many of my favorite games the last 2-3 years on Steam are XBLA ports so I am always trying to be on the watch for those. I've pre-purchased Sine Mora, due out tomorrow on Steam, another XLBA transfer; Steam carved its $9.99 price down a bit and to apologize, sent us pre-purchasers gift keys to give Sine Mora to a friend, which I already did. I "discovered" Mark of the Ninja when the list of "people who bought Deadlight also bought this" came up in Steam, I think. Although I love Deadlight, it lacks this game's extensive levels where you truly can find more than one way to the objective (Deadlight is extremely linear). I did manage to get myself stuck on this and might need to get some advice from you guys next time I return to it. imho, it's a shame people get stuck on MSRP as some indication of a game's excellence. I have played many disappointing $49.99-$59.99 games, and many extremely entertaining $9.99-$19.99, or even free (Alien Swarm, for example) games.

True...I tend to ignore most things XBLA. This one is the exception and seems to be really dang good (so far).
