prepare to get wet.  no, not WET, just wet.  OK, you really don't get wet, but damn if tho water effects they show aren't pretty cool.  the story is pretty much Die Hard aboard a ship, but the interactive environment sounds interesting in a Red Faction sort of way.

Looks neat (although not much of a trailer). According to the wiki it was going to be a multi-platform full release but they changed to episodic format through XBLA.

sounds interesting and i will want to see how this water effect they have modeled works out.  real water effects would be pretty damn sweet in a game as i don't think any game has really pulled it off before.

The article states the game will have the water physics:

The game will also be the first outing for Dark Energy Digital’s revolutionary “HydroEngine” technology – the first true fluid dynamics engine for games. “HydroEngine” models flowing water in real-time, a true physics simulation with emergent behavior which affects objects and characters in the scene with jaw-dropping authenticity.

that should have been 'PhysX water physics'.  I don't think the 360 has that ability.

That's fine.  This says "a true physics simulation"...   I don't need a branded product handling the water physics as long as it works.

there's a demo?  sweet!

I think some of the bad reviews have people gun shy though.  I don't remember where it was but one site gave it 3/10, saying something like the water was nicely done but that's about it.

Edge gave it the 3/10.  Eurogamer just gave it a 4/10.  IGN gave it an 8/10, though.  Others also liked it a lot.

I played it and bought it, but I have total buyers remorse now.

It's not bad, but I'm not compelled.  Plus the guy's Scottish accent is terrible.

Wow.  I was going to make a comment along the lines of "Did they fix the annoying voiceovers?" but there's a whole section on fixing the annoying voiceovers.

Wow, it's like they forgot to let anyone play the game before they released it. For $10 and all those improvements I probably willing to give it a shot, especially since I never played even the demo.

I played the demo and didn't really like it but for 400 msp and the update its worth a try. The video explaining the updates makes it look alot better and more fun.

I got it a little while back and played the first two chapters. I need to go back and finish it off. I liked it OK but it obviously didn't blow me away since I dropped it for a while.

I wasn't a big fan of the character movement - there was a little too much inertia or something. Also, maybe I just don't know enough about water, but the water movement didn't seem very realistic. It moved a lot more like I would expect syrup or something more viscous to move.

Otherwise it seemed pretty cool - there is cover-based gunplay, climbing puzzles, a variety of ways to get kills, lots of challenges and collectibles and an interesting setting/storyline.

I finally got around to trying the demo and have to say I wasn't very wowed.  it seemed like every other second it was going to a cutscene, which ruined the flow of the game for me.

The patch made a huge improvement to the game, but it is far from Must-Buy material.

I honestly couldn't tell any differences when playing the demo from this time i played it and when i played it when the game was first released, unless the patch kicks in when you buy the actual game

I could tell the difference now the game is patched. The game play is much smoother now and the remapped the jump button to A. Surprising how much of a difference this type of thing makes.

This is NOT a must buy game. Its a nice deal at $5.00 however and I encourage people to pick it up you are inclined.

Gameplay is like a disaster story. You are running around with explosions all over and water flowing and throwing you around every where. Some fairly simple but fun puzzles and the game flows better once you get past the demo.

The plot is alot like diehard but I'm okay with that.

Again, I don't advise people to buy this as it is nothing super special but I am enjoying it for the $5.00 I payed for it.

I tried the trial game and just couldn't get into it.  It felt really clunky and meh overall.
